Reason Of Ban - Illegal Mods/Avoiding SS
Hello Lokans, I would like to start my appeal by apologizing to the community and staff team for my actions and ask for a second chance. In specific, I used the cheat known as "Hitboxes" which expands a players hitbox
and allows me to gain an unfair advantage against the player im fighting. Before my ban I didn't really play Loka, I would get on every now and then to help my friends in wars. In the upcoming weeks towards
my ban, one of my friends was convincing me to try Loka, in specific the ranked gamemode. On the night of the 27th, I was in a discord voice chat with one of my close friends who finally convinced me to try ranked.
After I achieved the emerald rank, I started queueing players a lot better than me, as at the time I was 13 and didn't understand the severity of using cheats, and how it would affect the players i queued. I finally caved.
I downloaded Meteor Client and started using "Hitboxes" the cheat i told you guys about earlier. After continuing to progress through the ranks to emerald 2, it kept getting harder and harder. In turn, this engaged me to
keep making the hitboxes larger so I could conntinue winning and progressing through the ranked system, which led to me eventually get screenshared by a member of the Loka Staff Team.
As soon as I got frozen, I panicked as I didn't want to be known as a cheater within the Minecraft 1.9+ PvP Community. Especially as Loka being such a prestegious server and one that is talked about in such high standards.
After being frozen for around 2 minutes, I logged off and was banned for Illegal Mods/Avoiding SS.
Now that I have matured and reflected back on how wrong my actions were, I also think back to how much fun I used to have when playing Loka and all the funny jokes and late night calls between me and my friends that Loka caused.
Over time, I've seen how my actions had led to the consequences I recieved and see how much i regret it later on in life. After I recieved my ban, there was no other servers which I found fun, which led me to quitting minecraft
from the end of December to early July and I would get on occasionally to help my friends on other servers.
I hope the Staff Team and other members of the community see the change in my behaviour and grant me another chance to play this server again.
Lastly, I would like to apologize to the players that I queued in ranked as I may have ruined their Loka experience, I also would like to apologize to the staff team for wasting their time and I deeply regret my actions. I hope
that the staff team and community believe that I deserve a second chance at playing loka and bringing more positivity to the Loka community and have fun again.
