I think it would be cool for players who are nominated Slicer to receive some form of a unique title as a cool little prize. Could simply just be "Slicer _____"

if the title would be "Nominated" you would only need to be nominated. If the title was "Slicer" or whatever it would be better but I feel like you can see the title enough in chat or when u /find (name) them

getting nominated for slicer and actually getting it is 2 different things tho, anyone can get nominated but to actually get slicer its a lot harder

I worded it wrong as prize, I meant it as like a title for players who actually become a slicer like when you hold tab or see them in-game, just as a title to honor them of Slicer if they choose to use it.
