Something is weird.

A witch spawned in Dellsmite. A plains biome.
A wolf spawned in Dellsmites mine: 14y and under a plains biome.
Later, on 1.7 singleplayer,
Witches spawning in deserts, plains, and forests.
Later, on Loka again,
Apparently Laz has 6 horses with 25 hearts and 2 witches by her house.

What the feathers is going on?

Essentially in an attempt to increase server performance, I've installed a mob management plugin that helps control how and where mobs spawn. Since it's no longer controlled by vanilla mechanics, that explains the bats and witches everywhere. It's a work in progress. Be not alarmed, but enjoy the greater variety of mobs at your disposal now
