I feel like people are missing the point of what slicer is for, just because you like them and they are your friend or they've been around for awhile doesn't mean they deserve slicer. Yes, steak is funny, nice and fun to be around. But he doesn't actually contribute anything of significance to the server or help new players unless they're already in his town. It's a rare occasion to see him actually greet a new player and show them around (might be an exception if he, himself directly recruited them). For this reason I think people need to re-evaluate what it means to elect someone for slicer not just with steak but with a lot of nominations.

Also don't reply with I don't do that stuff either because I am fully aware I don't nearly fit the qualities to be elected or receive the role either.

I agree with what you say though adzy nominating me has inspired me to actually take this slicer nomination serious and hope to greet/help new players when they join!
