Staff Policy Clarification Regarding Transparency, Confidentiality, and Decision Making

+1 my friend invartal is in an infinite loop of being unable to appeal because he has no idea what it is that he did 2 years ago and you are saying he is alting without even giving him the name of the "alt" he was on? how is he meant to know, its simply unfair and increases the chances of false bans a lot. In some cases I can see why the reason shouldnt be shared, but for the most part they can atleast be told what it is that they did wrong so they dont do it again in the future
this genuinely was not funny in the slightest it didnt even make me slightly change my facial expression just dont try to make a joke like this again because its not funny
keep talking to me with this tone and i will send more evidence how ur boyfriend invartal hasnt changed at all kippehz

cryptite ignoring the thing everyone wanna hear but can make jokes bout it

Our stance on Kylaz comes down to looking at the situation in absolutes, like we do with any similar such case. Character, popularity, status, contributions to server recruiting, etc do not factor into how we considered her case.

In pure terms:
- What happened was over a year ago.
- There is no victim involved, therefore nobody to report an issue.
- We do not see any bar met for being an alleged danger to the community.

Given none of these apply, there is no action to take on our end.

lobsterlarry ban

yeah cant even lie lasty and kylaz are uncomparable, but kylaz should be banned.
Why are they incomparable? the significant difference is that lastiy acted on those urges when given the chance and kylaz has not as far as we are aware, I do not understand why that means she should be given the chance to do so. Why should someone who we know has this problem be allowed to play? I dont think any community full of young people should be making a decision like that

why should she be banned
Because she admitted to repeatedly pleasuring herself to sexualized illustrations of very young girls, which is pedophilic behavior by definition. No normal person finds the illustrations she describes in the videos attractive and the target audience for the genre of hentai she describes in those messages is not a mystery

This just feels like an insane and unjustifiable decision to me. The precedent it sets is extremely bad.
How long ago something happens has little relevance in an extreme situation like this one IMO, if anything the fact this was as recent as a year ago is what makes it extremely alarming. The evidence here is not in dispute whatsoever, the source of the evidence is Kylaz herself and we only have access to it because it (successfully) attempts to show that she had genuine concern about her urges and that she sought out help, and thats good for her and all but I really cannot comprehend why you would ever let someone with these urges remain on the server when the playerbase is full of kids. There was no victim involved so why not take the precautionary measures necessary to ensure this remains the case? When is the bar for being a danger to the community met? Is it met in the scenario where someone gets taken advantage of or harmed? Whats the point in allowing that to be a possibility in the first place?
