What you think is expected of this rank: Welcoming new players of course. This is a Slicer's responsibility but just because someone becomes Sentry does not mean they should stop. Sentries should also try and keep public chat away from racism sexism or just generally offendingism (its a word now.) Usually when dealing with rude players the steps go as fallows: Ask politely to stop, if they continue a more serious stop, if they still continue then a mute, if they still don't stop a longer mute, even further a temp ban, after three or four offensive possibly a perm ban.
Why you think you should become this rank: I have been playing actively for a year now (With occasional absences because of IRL stuff.) In this year I have seen a lot of players come and go and as well as several unfortunately rude players to join that aren't just looking for pixelmon. For example a couple months ago there were 2 or 3 players that joined when the majority of staff was offline. They immediately started to bombard the chat with racist and rude sayings and assuming that Loka was a pay to win server after we welcomed them. After several attempts to trying to get them to stop I contacted a Sentry via discord. Unfortunately that Sentry was out of town and another one logged on moments later and took care of the issue after myself and several others mentioned it to them. I try to be friendly to new players. An example of this was when I had just invited a newer player to my town I got warned by a friend that he was a dangerous player to be around from his previous experiences and I said to my friend that I would give him the chance because I believed he might have changed. I showed him and his friend the ropes of the server, he later left my town and did violate a rule but I will continue to give people like him chances when I find them.
TLDR: I try to keep chat clean and I try to be nice to new players

How often do you play (hours a day/week): As often as possible when IRL doesn't get in the way, usually around 3 - 4 hours a day recently but I plan on playing alot more soon possibly upping it to 6-8 hours a day.
