Hey fellow Lokans,
I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to bring up a concern that many of us have been facing when it comes to food resources. It's no secret that grinding for food has become quite a daunting task, even in areas like Shroom Isle and Clay Cliffs. Here's what's been bothering me:
1. Time-Consuming Food Collection: Getting 10 stacks of steak can take up to an hour, and that's in the most resource-rich regions.
2. Breeding Limitations: The breeding limit of 50 animals makes it really tough to maintain a steady source of food through animal husbandry.
3. Insufficient Industrial Food Production: Even when we employ the most efficient food production methods, like industry farming, it's still a struggle to keep up with the growing food demand.
(( So, I've been thinking about potential solutions to these issues, and I'd love to hear your thoughts: ))
Proposal 1: Passive Mob Spawning at Night
What if we allowed passive mobs to spawn during nighttime hours? This could create a more balanced food ecosystem, giving us a chance to naturally encounter and collect animals without the constant grind.
Proposal 2: Increased Passive Mob Spawns
Alternatively, we could consider adjusting the spawn rates of passive mobs like cows, mushroom cows, and pigs. This would ensure a more consistent availability of food resources, even for our larger towns with 70-100 members.
By making these changes, I believe we could make our gaming experience more enjoyable and less food-focused. After all, we should be able to focus on other aspects of the game without constantly worrying about where our next meal is coming from.
I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this, and hopefully, we can collectively suggest for some improvements . Let's make food collection a bit more reasonable and fun!
