I believe I have met or spoke to many of you personally, but for those whom I haven't met yet, my name is That1ChessKid. About 10 months ago, I was banned from Loka for using an illegal mod. I made one of the worst set of decisions one can make by doing 2 things. The first was somewhat of an accident, in which I used my phone hotspot the majority of time whilst on Loka to increase my ping at the cost of avoiding latency issues on my home network. The second, however, is what got me banned. After I played Loka for a couple months, I began to get tired of the invis players in both RI and conquest so I made the extremely poor decision to create my own invis seeing mod using the code from 2 illegal clients as well as some other side mods. I will include a screenshot of the mod in effect at the bottom of the screen. I did this by taking one of the clients and using it as a template just as I do with resource packs so I don't have to create all the files by myself. I then painstakingly removed all the files except for the ones that enabled me to see through invis and added some files for nametags in from another client. However, because I didn't bother with renaming the mod or the mod details(Because doing so would force me to edit further files to keep the mod from crashing), it still showed up as the original client, therefore resulting me being banned for the reason of "Hacking". I believe that my unstable wifi and connection might have had to do with accusations, but that's beside the point. After being screenshared, I originally lied and stated it was a mistake, but ended up telling other players the truth about it afterwards. This was another clearly another huge mistake because it further destroys trust with other players that could have been easily avoided if I had been honest. I truly regret all the extremely poor choices I did a year ago and I want to sincerely apologize to both the admins of the server for causing them trouble as well as the players of Loka who were affected. I know that I might not have the greatest reputation in the community, sometimes I could be a bit toxic(I think I honestly don't remember), but I loved the community as a whole. I enjoyed talking in vc and collaborating with others during my time on Loka. I enjoyed the Loka podcasts and wish I hadn't been so foolish so I would be able to enjoy the things that have been implemented since I was banned. I made a major mistake the cost me both friends and trust, both of which are important to me and I want to try to regain that trust. I truly regret all the actions I've done to cause damage or strife to the community and I know it might be impossible to fix that. If I were to be unbanned, perhaps to regain trust, I could be put under "House arrest", meaning I would be locked from queueing duels and warping to fights or ri or gank isle. Essentially, I would be restricted to solely building around a town or walking around and talking. Perhaps I could do some "community service" for individuals. For instance, I could be forced to go to RI for a specific amount of time without a sword(While screensharing), and mine ores for others. I know that there are a few individuals who don't like me, and my goal if I were to be unbanned, would be to spend more time establishing friendly relationships rather than being competitive. I enjoyed building around a town and filling in random areas and training recruits as much as I enjoyed talking in vc while at gank isle or conquest. I know that I might have permanently broken the trust the community has in me and I understand that my consequences have actions, but I would do anything to regain that trust back. I take full responsibility for my actions, and if pardoned, I promise both the community and the staff of Loka that I would never do such things again.
