Theme Unban Appeal - Alt of Vexaay

To begin with context, the person playing on the Theme account is Strafe, the no. 1 Debuff player on 1.8.

He's new to 1.9, but is picking up very quickly.
He and Vexaay are friends, and have shared a wide collection of OG named accounts.

Further context: we got in contact with Vexaay, and this is apparently the evidence behind the ban:
Vexaay has never logged onto theme. Strafe lives in the Middle East. Vexaay is from Belgium. Their ips are not even remotely connected.
A player by the name of lurnn screenshared Vexaay in FFA with echo and saw Theme as an alt. This doesn't prove anything.

The only condemning proof I can muster up is the following:
(1) Strafe (Theme) is not remotely as skilled as Vexaay is. Those who are active in the 1.9+ pvp community will know that Vexaay continues to play actively on other servers, and maintains a high level of skill. I can only find one eldritchbot fight that he has participated in: https://eldritchbot.com/fight?id=eHwBM9E4Y , in which his stats do not paint him as someone who is of Vexaay's skill in 1.9+ pvp.

Maybe I can place the burden of evidence on the LokaMC Staff team? What do we have to do to prove that Vexaay and Strafe (one is a known 1.9 player, the other is a known 1.8 player) are two different people? Should I screenshare my discord chats with Strafe over the past month or so? XD Like, there's no strong evidence to dispute here, and without that, I don't know what to disprove.
 
Wait. Staff, I just realised, proving his innocent is so straightforward.

(1) Call him (Strafe) on discord and screenshare him logging into Loka.

(2) Then, check his ip when he logs in, and see if it matches exactly that of the IP he’s always been playing on. Vexaay cannot geographically log onto Strafe’s ip. That’s just not possible. So this should prove that they are two different people, if hearing his voice isn’t sufficient.

(3) Claiming that he’s on a VPN and sharing one with Vexaay to disguise him doesn’t work either, because you can use the screenshare to ascertain that he’s not on a VPN.

regarding this his stats seem to line up pretty well considering his performances on other accounts!
He's kinda garbage xD

Don't see the relevance? You were still a "high ranking active member of the community" providing some random eldritchbot stats that are only consistent with your previous gameplay makes little sense, plays against you rather for you. I only pointed that out as it makes no sense, I assume staff will review all IP's accessed on that account and either accept / deny the appeal

I am in full support of this btw. My concern is that ips were not checked at all, and that conclusions were jumped to leading to a false ban.

Even if Vexaay had logged onto Theme at any point, he and Strafe are still two distinctly different people who have different voices and long histories. Strafe shouldn’t be disallowed from playing for being Vexaay, if he is not Vexaay.
 
I've known Strafe for a couple years now, I literally watched Strafe fight in conquest in a discord call, and he's literally in the Middle East and Vexaay is in Belgium

Regarding this, that would still be account sharing and if vexaay ever did access themes account on loka this would still be a bannable offense and completely on theme.
He shouldn't give access to players if he can't trust them not to use the account, or he should just use his main that hopefully isn't shared

This is fair. I’ve been informed of, and until further evidence proves that dishonesty may be at play, will maintain that that Vexaay has not logged onto the account.
 
I got told to explain my side of the story: i got on one day and realized I’m banned for being vexaay which is totally false, you guys did 0 investigation before banning me falsely and in my opinion was a very rushed decision, and no i am not vexay, i live in the middle east and he lives in belgium, @Lurnn I tried to add you on discord but seems like you weren’t accepting, but I’ll just say it here, i have no hate towards you whatsoever, and if you hate vexay that’s all on you, but you shouldn’t be getting extremely hostile towards someone you don’t know, it’s minecraft not that deep.

The only toxicity I ever displayed on this thread was towards Vexaay, if you can even call it that, it was banter me jesting at his minecraft KD, truly isn't that deep especially when you consider the kind of stuff he regularly says to me! Apologies for not accepting your rq on discord I usually deny them all

I could care less about how much hatred you've got for Vexaay, I've been banned unfairly, and in the most respectful way possible, I would like you to get off my post and stop saying unnecessary BS and beefing on my thread, take it elsewhere. I hope you have a great day aswell and apology accepted by the way.

I'd accept your request if you'd even had the bother to make your appeal yourself in the first place, I've only made responses poking holes in the logics and reasonings for unbans and given my stance on adequate proof for an unban, I'm allowed to do this and will continue to do so, don't be so childlike to request I stop commenting just because of that, I don't hate him it's the other way around 🤷
