What you think is expected of this rank: Guardians are assumed to have a precise understanding of the rules, they should be well known throughout the community and should be seen as a player that anyone can approach. Should be aware and involved with the community regarding any current events. Guardians are to deal with /reports and investigate while remaining completely unbiased in their varying duties. This includes rolling back griefs, dealing with town betrayal, keeping an eye on new players to ensure they are following the rules as well as enforcing chat rules. You should be able to work with the playerbase to fix issues without any problems, including the ability to work with other staff members. They are expected to be capable of using their problem solving skills to fix bugs and act in a timely fashion in emergency situations without error. A Guardian is close to the top of the staff hierarchy, therefore they are to show poise at all times while also exhibiting exemplary conduct on and off the server.
Why you think you should become this rank: Over the course of 3 years on Loka I have found myself to be deeply involved with the community and I have gone through many phases on the server. Instead of leading alliances and PvPing with most of my time I now wish to further the Loka experience as an admin. With my months of time on the server I have developed a mastery when it comes to rules as well as cases of rule breaks and punishments. My knowledge on a wide range of precedent dating back to before I even played the server will help me in discussion regarding rules or punishments as well as an overall Guardian. Loka is an extremely unique and sometimes complex server with all of its intricate systems and commands. Either by going through things first hand or going straight to the Elder’s looking for an answer, I have an expertise when it comes to Loka mechanics as I have accumulated plenty of information the past 3 years. My time as a LCR has honed my skills by collecting information from the playerbase as well as constructing suggestions to help the server. Sentry is considered the “stepping stone” to becoming a Guardian and although I have only been a Sentry for 1.5 months as of this application, I believe I have the duties of a Sentry down to a tee as well as received a fundamental amount of experience. That being said I am not implying Sentry is an effortless position but with my skill set my time on the server would be more beneficial as a Guardian. The server could use more staff due to the rapidly growing player base whether that be Sentries or Guardians as well as older staff members becoming inactive creates a need for more staff. The vast knowledge that I have on Loka will contribute to my skills as a Guardian.
