Suggestion Tournament bribing

I think that going forwards people shouldn’t be able to persuade people or bribe people to vote for their tournament. It turns the voting into a pay to win session. Where in my opinion it should be the nicest looking town/arena.

It demotivates the town which builds really nice looking tournaments just to lose to towns who pay people to vote for them all.

I don’t know how this can be prevented but could it possibly be looked into. So the rich don’t get richer and other towns have an opportunity.

End of the day profits aside it is just a minecraft Festival, having the judges have slight biases (for example liking medival builds more) isn't really an issue becuase it's arbritary and it's not like they benefit in the end from the result they choose different to me being a judge and giving 10 points to dawnstar, Judges work absolutely fine in numerous types of competitions which is what this is not a real life election which are much more important obviously so people take more care in who they vote

Either way, doesn't seem like Elders or comm managers are interested, so that's the end of that
judges are fine for arbitrary things when they dont know any of the contestants, however on loka many top town owners are long time staff members and a jury would kick out any juror if they recognise or have any personal connection to the defendant because having a personal connection to a person sways a arbitrary vote one way or another which would just cause so much outrage imagine how half the community would be if asgard was hand picked by the elders to host a tournament people would call it rigging and bias the second it was picked regardless of how good a build is, also if the elders picked a build that people said is awful there would also be outrage. which happens already in real world examples, it is just a minecraft festival yes but its also the biggest event the community has and its only every 3 months the amount of people on for festival times is like balak war levels

As mentioned during the LCR Meeting, we want to host an official Loka festival at some point. Those would become the "major" festivals, with player-run festivals being smaller in comparison. It would be weird to host our own festival and also hand-pick ones from the community in addition to it.
