also have a button that lets you put in a certain number of shards that it takes out of your shard pouch so you can get an exact amount when tradingSpawn stealing is against the rules. If you have been victimized by spawn stealing I suggest reporting them. I do think, however, a /trade would be an amazing benefit to Loka as you could count the money before a trade to ensure you are not being ripped off.
I think that allowing items to still be dropped at spawn (but not protect them via a rule) as well as adding this plugin would be a good middle-ground. Enforcing the spawn stealing rule is something that I would imagine is already low on the priority list anyways, so I don't see a good reason to keep it around.Curious what the current community consensus is towards a trading plugin and no dropping items at spawn.
Except that it's pretty unfair to drop something and some rando picks it up with no option to do anything about it when you can't, say PvP them. I do not want to have to use the time saved by not dealing with spawn stealing reports to explain to players why they are SOL.I think that allowing items to still be dropped at spawn (but not protect them via a rule) as well as adding this plugin would be a good middle-ground. well its being a problem atm cus alot of ppl joining loka these daysWe added a trade plugin many years ago and prevented dropping items at spawn. It received such a bad reaction (because people lazy and dropping is quicker) that we had to remove it and revert back to what we currently have. From our point of view, we would like to re-add this so we can remove the spawn stealing rule and reduce staff time wasted dealing with these issues. I think the time difference will probably end up being more beneficial with less time spent and I think this will reduce the amount of people who get scammed by others at spawn by a lot. I think a warning or something to help with players dropping stuff might also be helpful if you do drop an item in spawn or some kind of cooldown timer that gives drop pickup priority to the original owner.Except that it's pretty unfair to drop something and some rando picks it up with no option to do anything about it when you can't, say PvP them. Make it similar to how mineclub does it where you can drop items in spawn but there's a timer for the dropper to pick it back up in case someone comes to try and steal it. I think it's stupid how an item left at spawn unattended like an arrow can technically be counted as spawn stealing. I'd also much rather /trade someone their shulkers I've kept for them or a big sum of money in exchange for a lore sword, so both parties can see what they're recieving. Wouldn't hurt to add something to preview shulkers as well.Curious what the current community consensus is towards a trading plugin and no dropping items at spawn.
This is something that creates more work for a simple problem than is necessary and will still end up creating headaches. In my personal opinion, it's /trade and no dropping or it's leaving it the way it is.I think the time difference will probably end up being more beneficial with less time spent and I think this will reduce the amount of people who get scammed by others at spawn by a lot. Why must it be one way or the other instead of having /trade and the ability to drop items?
