Subject: Ban Appeal

Hello Loka Community,

I would like to appeal for my recent ban for using illegal mod. The mod I was using was supposedly autofish, which I had no clue off. I was using other modpacks but they didnt give me fps boost. One of my friends (who doesnt play loka asked me to download a modpack in vc which gave me insane fps boost most likely due to the fact of vulkan). In this modpack, there was a mod called hook client timer which I had no idea of and didnt think much of it. I used the pack normally on all competitive servers similar to loka. I started using this modpack around the 3 of april or something, around which I started getting active on loka.

Today, while i was done with my fishing session, I was frozen by babysoi. I was asked if i was using any cheats (which I didnt know at the time of being frozen) to which i said no. Long story short, I was told that i had auto fish (which I had 0 clue of because I used to fish using particles and pull them).

I think its completely my fault for not investigating this mod further especially when I had instances of the fishing rods glitching. However I thought, its maybe due to my ping because im like 250ms on loka.
I would like to end this appeal with by saying I would never ever cheat knowingly and since the ban I have removed the mod aswell.

I have attached the screenshot of my friend sending me the mod link. These links expire after 7 days so unfortunately, i cant get hold of it.

Seems like a genuine mistake just next time check what mods are in ur pack so it doesn’t happen again. +1

+1, I know lxghteye from other servers and I can confidently back that he made a mistake here since he's not the type of guy to be cheating. However its down to what the staff decide at the end of the day.

I will also add if this "hook client timer" does exactly what it says it does, its not really cheating (imo) since you can look at the fishing particles either way.

yeah lets just have some unknown mod called "hook client timer" on the folder, this is kinda common sense in general to check what type of weird unknown mod you got

you should always check what mods youre using, if its not in the allowed mod list then i wouldnt use it
