Dear Loka Staff Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to formally appeal the mute that was placed on my account. I fully understand and acknowledge that the reason for the mute was due to spamming, and I want to start by taking full responsibility for my actions. While I didn't initially see my behavior as spamming, I now recognize how it could have been disruptive to others on the server.
At the time, I was sending messages roughly every 5 to 10 minutes. The server was fairly quiet, and I believed that the frequency of my messages was harmless given the low activity. However, in retrospect, I understand that even if a server is quiet, repeated messaging can still be seen as spam, especially when it clutters the chat or potentially distracts other players. My intention was never to annoy or disrupt anyone. I was simply trying to stay engaged and interact with the community during a period of inactivity.
I’d also like to provide a bit of context regarding how the mute occurred. I did receive a comment from PartayArc suggesting that I could be muted if I continued, but I didn’t interpret that as an immediate or official warning. There wasn’t a clear directive or formal notice that I would be muted, so I was a bit caught off guard when Chickpro issued the mute without further warning or direct communication. That said, I am not trying to shift blame or argue the decision. I just want to share what happened from my point of view to help clarify my experience.
Since being muted, I’ve taken time to reflect on my behavior and the importance of respecting both the written and unwritten rules of server etiquette. I now have a better understanding of what constitutes spam, and I recognize the value of maintaining a clean and welcoming chat environment for all players. I’ve learned from this situation and am committed to being more thoughtful and careful with how I engage in chat going forward.
I’ve served my time, and I believe I’ve demonstrated a willingness to learn from the mistake. I’m genuinely eager to rejoin the community in a more responsible and positive way. I enjoy being a part of Loka and contributing to its unique atmosphere, and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to regain my voice so I can interact with others, participate in events, and fully enjoy everything the server has to offer.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my appeal and consider my request. I understand that the staff has a responsibility to maintain order and fairness, and I respect the decisions you’ve made. I am just hoping for a second chance to show that I’ve learned and grown from this experience.
Sincerely,
DarkCloud0
