Moving Forward: Building on the Right Direction
The Bits Retirement Home believes that Loka's latest update represents a step in the right direction for the server's competitive environment. Throughout the past month, we believe we have witnessed more fights than in many typical months prior. This is an encouraging sign that the changes are moving the server toward a more active and engaging competitive landscape. However, progress should not be mistaken for completion. There is still considerable room for improvement, and we believe the next round of changes should focus on scaling fights, reducing lag, and creating a more balanced environment for alliances of all sizes.
Our recommendations for the road ahead are as follows:
1. Fight Scaling and Multiple Objectives
One of the most promising directions would be the introduction of multiple objectives within a fight tile. By splitting players across different objectives, the server could distribute combat more effectively, reduce player concentration, and help alleviate lag during large-scale engagements. This would encourage better coordination, tactical decision-making, and more dynamic fights rather than concentrating everyone into a single location.2. A More Consistent Fight Cap
We believe the fight cap should be determined by tile count and applied consistently to both sides. For example, even if an attacking alliance brings fewer than seven tiles, the cap should still apply equally to attackers and defenders, with both sides limited to 25 players under the relevant conditions.A consistent system would create clearer expectations, reduce opportunities for imbalanced engagements, and encourage alliances to win through coordination and execution rather than simply relying on numerical advantages.
3. A Slight Increase to the Alliance Cap
A modest increase to the alliance cap, potentially to four or five, could provide enough flexibility to support healthier coalition-building without completely undermining the importance of individual alliance identity. We believe a carefully considered increase could open up more strategic possibilities while preserving meaningful competition between rival groups.
4. More Mutators and Combat Balance
We would welcome additional mutators that introduce variety and strategic depth to fights. There is plenty of room to experiment with new mechanics that change how engagements unfold and reward different playstyles. At the same time, we believe certain combat mechanics and items deserve another look. Specifically, Vicious Attack and iron ingots may benefit from balancing adjustments to prevent them from having an outsized impact on combat.
The goal should not be to eliminate strong strategies, but to ensure that a wider range of strategies remains viable.
A Message to Big C
Big C, also known as Cryptite, has an opportunity to build on the momentum created by this update. We recognize the progress that has been made, and we believe the direction is promising. Our message is simple: build on what is working, address what is not, and do not move backward.
The community needs continued development, thoughtful balancing, and meaningful improvements to the competitive experience. We would particularly welcome news of the Conquest update in the near future, as we believe it could be another important step in Loka's evolution.
We should not lose the momentum we have gained. The latest update has given us something to build upon, and the next steps should push the server forward.
An Open Message to the Next Generation of Alliance Leaders
To all young and aspiring alliance leaders across Loka, we want to offer a reminder: never underestimate what a small, passionate group of players can accomplish.Best in the South, also known as BITS, is proof that a group does not need to be the largest force on the server to achieve meaningful results.
Despite our size, we have held the second-best Rivi tile and currently hold second place on Garama. These achievements represent what can happen when players share a vision, remain committed to one another, and put in the work necessary to compete at a high level.
We hope our example encourages other emerging alliances to pursue their ambitions rather than become discouraged by the size or reputation of their opponents.
You do not need the biggest roster to make an impact. You need passion, consistency, teamwork, and the willingness to keep pushing when the odds are against you.
Anything is possible when you have the passion to pursue it.
Let BITS serve as an example to every aspiring alliance that meaningful results are achievable, regardless of where you start. Build your community, develop your players, stay committed to your goals, and give yourselves the opportunity to succeed.
The future of Loka should belong not only to established powers, but also to the next generation of groups willing to earn their place.

Final Statement
The Bits Retirement Home believes Loka is moving in the right direction. More fights, better opportunities for competitive engagement, and continued development are all reasons for optimism. Now is the time to build on that progress. Improve fight scaling, address lag, refine combat balance, and continue delivering meaningful updates to the community.
To Cryptite and the development team: keep cooking.
To the alliance leaders of today and tomorrow: keep competing.
And to every small group wondering whether it can make a difference: let BITS be your reminder that it can.
We should not go backward from here. The future of Loka is worth building toward.
