Hello lokans, i'm here today to appeal my mute.
I was muted on the 9th of September 2023, following an incident that started in alliance chat, where I was arguing with a fellow player for a stupid reason. In the heat of the moment I said very nasty things. I called them fat and I was being racist, two actions which were undeniably extremely immature and childish. Still, to add some context, at the time I played another server with extremely lenient chat rules, leading me to believe that racism and violent speech was the norm in any pvp-related server.
This however does not excuse my actions, and I now fully understand that what I said is unacceptable in any context. My mute was fully justified, and looking back, I feel a lot of shame for the words I typed. I have apologzied to the concerned player, but I am also incredibly apologetic towards the Loka community as a whole, who I hope will find it in their heart to forgive me after a one year mute.
