Vexaay's Ban Appeal - Griefing (Town Betrayal) + Ban Evasion

Dear Staff Team,

In 2020, I poured lava all over my town in a serious griefing incident. I reacted very poorly in retaliation against my town when my town's leadership gave TryH4rdd and Tqmen perms to kill me and kwevin in our room. I was very upset because I felt that my town leaders had done so because Tryh4rdd was a known player, and they cared more about pleasing him than the welfare of their own town members.

Anyway, I am not here to argue that what I did wasn't wrong. I am hoping to (1) open up and offer insight into my perspective of the ban and (2) show that I am not the person I was two years ago.

To begin, the actions taken by the Vexaay in 2020 my old self, were those of a fifteen year old. I am turning eighteen in November, and I have frankly been through a lot growth. I have also learned to walk away from such situations (that are bad) as I had encountered in 2020, and to exercise restraint and a far greater degree of self control.

When I evaded my ban in 2021, I just wanted to fight the best potpvpers in 1.9+, which I could not do elsewhere because the best pvpers are often on Loka instead of on prac servers. I did so out of a casual interest in pvp, and never participated in the actual LokaMC towny gamemode. I personally can see that I have underwent tremendous change in terms of maturity over the past two years, to the extent that I would not even consider myself the same person. I sincerely ask if the Loka community is willing to give me another chance to play on the server. My previous dying interest that had come about from being exiled for two years (which was well deserved) has been reignited by the arrival of my friends from 1.8 who have started to play on Loka. One of whom, Theme, was ironically recently unbanned for being me!

They're all new to the game, and I want to serve as a guide and mentor to them. I hope that with my influence, they’ll be able to climb the server’s learning curve and integrate into our community.

In summary, I am remorseful for the acts of griefing and ban evasion, and being unable to play on Loka for two years has really hammered home a deep sense of regret. I promise that if given another chance, such actions will not be seen on my part ever again. I am hoping you guys unban me as I just really wanna play again man, a lot of my friends play this server and even though I have ban evaded, I did it out of love for Minecraft and a love for Pvp. I understand it is the wrong thing to do now so I will no longer do such a thing.

Your appeal seems really mature compared with the first reason of your ban. Anyway the staff will have a look on your case, best of luck sir.

My first interaction with Vexaay was on the prac server “PvP Club”. He was an affable person who offered to spar with some of my friends who were new and clueless to 1.9+ pvp.

At the time, I didn’t yet know him or who he was, and neither did he, I. In spite of this, he was friendly and helpful towards a complete stranger that he had only just met. Through our encounter, he taught me about the importance of critical hits, and how to create opportunities through aggressive play for one to chain several crits, thereby maintaining pressure on the opponent. His teachings are the reason that I’ve been motivated to try to be competitive on Loka at all. I can’t imagine Vexaay being anything other than a positive influence on the server, and on those who have the pleasure of directly interacting with him.

+1, seems like a genuine approach, vexaay is quite famous in the 1.9 pvp scene and would bring a lot of players with him, I think unbanning him is a good move, seems like he has learned his lesson and wrote this appeal with such care. I think he deserves a second chance.

You also quickly went back to your doxxing past after losing a random tournament doxxing the player who beat you in a satirical video.

All of this within the last month or two, shows a lack in change of character coming up on your big 18th, it seems quite likely you will be angered in game and return to many of these habits. I don't believe this is the kind of player who should be allowed to return to Loka

This response has only further proved you are just as childish as ever, responding with a fake screenshot of someone else as a rebuttal for the poor things you've said yourself, see you never hopefully.

It’s quite funny how Lurnn is basing everything he said off of simple hatred, unlike the rest of the slicers in this thread, they kept an unbiased and mature response to what’s in the ban appeal. Shows how Lurnn is extremely biased and is not a credible person to make judgements on such sensitive topics.

I'm curious what you think of Vexaay's behavior in his screenshots?
