So my VinovianPredator account got hacked and the guy who is on the account has now flagged me for Suspicious Activity. I want to switch to my alt (cjuu) with better security (difficult password + 2fa) but I was told when I made a ticket to instead post it on the forums.

When I asked the admins about it they just said someone had logged into my account and that I should change my password but I’d forgotten the password to that email. That’s why I’m trying to switch to a different account cause the security is a lot better.

You are missing some information. You were blocked and we told you your account was compromised and you said you would secure your account, so we let you back on the server. You then failed to do this, your account was again used by said hacker and we have once again blocked you again.

even if you change your password minecraft session ID's do not expire until roughly 24 hours once obtained. I can 100% promise you that if allowed to play on my alt, this issue will not happen again as I’ve learnt my lesson as well as improved my security to prevent this.

I honestly am confused would it not just be best in this situation where the hacker has access to his main account for him to use another account which we think he doesn't have access to? If the hacker somehow has access to his alt too just to fully block him. Just my thought though.

Well, it sounds like they found his account doing sus things, then banned it. Then, VinovianPredator claimed it was accessed by somebody else, and his account was compromised. I'm guessing he told staff he secured the account and it would not be an issue again, and then the sus behavior continued. Logically speaking, when you change your Minecraft password, you are logged out on all devices, and he claims to have changed it. So he should be the only one with access to it unless he's willingly sharing it with people.

not actually true, when you go through clients like feather and lunar, making a new password does not reset the login for a few days, ive been through it myself. it sounds like the guy has been through enough, let him play

We are not happy with you wasting our time and lying to us about you securing your old account after the first 'hack' when you said you did. However, we are willing to give you one final chance with this new account. If anything funky happens again though we will not be doing the same.
