What you think is expected of this rank:
Guardians represent the server, and serve the playerbase to the best of their ability. They should be mature, unbiased, yet friendly and approachable and always looking to help people out. Their duties are to monitor chat and players, help resolve reports and tickets, and answer questions.
Players must be able to rely on Guardians, and be able to confide in them when it comes to sensitive issues or information, or when a Guardian must perform a screenshare; there must be a trust that information will not be leaked to others, that they won't abuse their power.
Guardians must also be up-to-date when it comes to the mechanics and rules of the server, as well as be active in-game, on the forums, and on the Discord so that they are able to handle reports, tickets, and answer questions in a timely manner.
What duties do you think you would be proficient in:
I believe I would be best at handling tickets in the Discord, as well as helping answer questions in Public/Guide Chat. I would also be good at helping resolve reports in-game, such as investigating town betrayals. I'm less confident about catching cheaters due to a lack of experience (and also not being the greatest PvPer). I am more than willing to learn, however, and would do what I can to assist the Guardian team in this aspect.
I also like attending the SOTSes (which is actually why I originally applied for Sentry, Cryptite asked people to consider doing so during the last one) so I would love to help with that as well.
Why you think you should become this rank:
I believe that I pretty much fit all the criteria for a Guardian I laid out above, and I think I've shown over the past months as a Sentry that I'm trustworthy, consistently active, and a team player. My status as an 'unc' as the playerbase likes to call it makes it so that I'm mature, and I have no issue with being unbiased and treating every player the same. I'm rarely (or basically never) toxic, and believe I am a positive role model in that respect.
The "constraints" of being a Guardian are also not a problem for me; I never raid people, and I only very rarely gank. Even at RIs I never kill (invisible) people, I abhor the concept of "cashrunning" and hence I won't miss not being able to steal from others. I play Loka because I enjoy the fights and appreciate the staff team, and I tend to try and not get involved with alliance drama, or beefs with other players.
I believe that I have good relations with a large part of the server and that players would be comfortable with approaching me if they have any issues. I'm also able to take feedback and criticism well, be it from higher staff or other players.
I have been mulling over applying for Guardian for some time now (as some of the staff reading this ticket are aware), primarily due to my in-game activity which could potentially be a little lacking. However, I have thought it through, and I do believe I would add value to the Guardian team, even when being active within my means and not being able to promise I'll be online for X hours every day.
I can however promise I'll be consistently active on a week-to-week, month-to-month basis, as I have been as a Sentry. My playtime currently tends to be dictated by conquest fights and town owner duties, which is, I'd guess, about 8 hours on average per week currently? There are periods of time when I will be more active, but this level of activity should be a minimum. If I were to become a Guardian, I would have another reason to log on, and I would try to do so whenever time allows, especially if I know there are reports waiting for me to handle.
I am also more active on Discord than I am in-game, and if I were to be accepted as a Guardian, I would be able answer questions (and moderate) Public Chat as I have been doing for Guide Chat from my phone.
And while not relevant to my application for Guardian, if I were to become a Ticket Admin eventually, I would be able to help move those tickets along to some degree (as much as possible while not being in-game). I of course do understand that requires me to prove myself as a Guardian beforehand.
But I believe it's important to mention due to the fact that part of my motivation to apply as Guardian is to help the TA team eventually, because I know there are a lot of players that need help, and a small team of TAs that are quite busy (like myself) that have to help them all. I would love to contribute and help to lighten their load.

How often do you play (hours a day/week): I log on several times a week, playing around 8 hours or so on average I'd say. This would be the minimum level of activity I could promise. I gave more details on this above.
