Age: 18
Current rank: Sentry
Which rank you are applying for: Guardian
What you think is expected of this rank: A difficult question to ask someone, as the answer is many things. Many things that apply to this role, for it's the definition of the perfect Lokan. One thats not rude, arrogant, or dismissive, but rather one that is kind, respectful, adherent, and caring. Sticking firm to their gut when in times needed, which requires a high sense of self-reflection and common sense. You are what people look up to when they think of trustworthy, and therefore you must be capable of keeping your word, then acting on it swiftly and if needed, quietly. Yet be open to explain their actions when the need arises.
A Guardian needs to have perfect character whilst upholding their responsibilities, which includes the responsibility as a Settler, a Slicer, a Sentry, and their newfound responsibility of Guardianship of the server, which calls for the previous responsibility of the Sentry and Slicer, whilst adding the new hurdles of catching rule breakers, and assisting those who have fallen due to the actions of the previously mentioned dissidents.
Due to these responsibilities, the admin in question should be upheld to the highest standard, and every action they do should be criticized by everyone to the highest extremes, especially if its contradictory to the character of that Guardian. This also requires the guardian to be able to take a fair amount of criticism at face value and not fall into the wrong rabbit hole, whilst also apologizing for any actions that were indeed wrong committed on their behalf. They represent the community as a whole, and should therefore be treated as how the community should behave.
Why you think you should become this rank: To become a Guardian, it shouldn’t be started with “I”, as the community should support your endeavor to the Moon whilst providing positive constructive criticism the whole way. However that’s not the purpose behind this question. I believe that I should become a Guardian because I’m an active friendly member of this server who has proven capable in handling the the responsibilities of being a Sentry since December of 2021, as well as answer questions in Guide chat to the best of my ability. However I will admit that I do not know everything about Loka, and every now and then, do get corrected by others in that field. However I take this knowledge and compound them into a more well-informed Lokan.
I provide help whenever I can, to whoever I can, when it's needed, and if it's within the scope of my abilities, which if not, I send to a higher authority who would be able to deal with such issues due to their more advanced tools, such as with Tickets, and in-game questions. I am not saying I am the perfect candidate in the line-up of already great Guardians, but I do believe I do hold enough qualifications to at-least stand shoulder to shoulder with them.
