This is less of a great example because of it being killaura and a combat hack (all of which are perma bans) whereas things like x-ray are around 1 month bans (e.g. Jewy's recent ban).


I believe Zye did not intend to maliciously use freecam, but the use is still there. For people like Garama saying that she was "lucky" for only getting a 1 month ban, I don't fully agree due to how useless the hack would've been especially used on her own town and for such a short period of time. Furthermore it isn't a combat hack so it didn't change/effect anyone else/conquest in any way. Unless I'm mistaken, if so please correct me, Zye logged onto Loka with the wrong instance of minecraft, realised it was the incorrect one and quickly logged off? I understand that the use of Tweakeroo is still there, but it didn't affect anything at all and was quickly fixed by Zye. In my opinion, this should be shortened since the use is still there but it was clearly a mistake and also quickly corrected.

+1 it was in her own town and for a few seconds, it should not be 30 days it should be like a week

sand force bias, banning our best player.

It is hard to simply shorten the ban as you say based on her word alone and her account of the story, especially considering how unlikely and overall baffling the story seems to be.

She was caught whilst using freecam, but the fact of the matter is as Joven listed she's on a mod that has countless PVP related - and some not, cheats.
I think the full context for this ban is still extremely lacking, no timeline either. I'm unsure how you can accidentally be screensharing and looking around your town to a whole call. I'd say something if she just clicked the key noticed and logged out, but it's not sounding like that. The ban should remain but I similarly agree that it should be no more than a month - a permban for this would be excessive IMO, so in that we agree.

But she obviously wasn't caught immediately when she used the freecam, as she was able to log onto a different client and play on that before logging off later. I think the story needs to be extremely clarified from Zye's POV as nobody can really make a clear decision on whether or not it should be shortened due to the lack of context and story behind the ban
 
The point I was getting at was zye was on a hacked client which had a bunch of illegal mods and yea she was lucky for the one month considering it had macros, able to look at shulkers when there placed, no slow and other insane stuff I am of the firm belief that a one month is more then fair

sherlock holmes everybody, she already clarified she was screensharing which makes it pretty obvious someone recorded and reported it, of course she wasn't banned immediately, lol, and no of course nobody can just make a "clear decision" based on what we are provided with, because not only do we not know the truth of Zyes story alone, she may be lying about various things and we can't confirm, however with the facts we have its
A: she was on a very illegal mod on par with a client
B: she used the mod and freecammed in her town with it
C: shouldn't have to be a C i think any player who went on a client even accidentally and used one of the modules would be banned (to clarify it is not my opinion that it was so "accidental" as zye displays in the appeal), we know these facts as she's given them to us, this is enough to establish grounds for the ban, along with whatever context loka staff have. so yes we effectively can make a clear *opinion* not decision as that isn't up to us!

no passiveness involved, and read my signature that should answer such a stupid question.. I take back the sherlock holmes thing, he woulda seen the signature.
 
I firstly didn't want to write anything under this topic but then I realised that I should write my opinions as well. So my personal opinion on this one is that she is very luck that she got 1 month ban due to the fact that she used a illegal mod. I can understand she didn't want to open that client and she is sorry about that but it was her fault. Yes a innocent one but 1 month ban is fairly enough for her so that she can understand that even having a illegal client is risky. Of course not only her but all the community since this can happen to you if you have an illegal client in your pc. I would say 1 month ban is enough but I wouldn't argue if they lower her ban to 3 weeks or 2 weeks but as I said personally 1 month ban is okay so -1 from me unfortunately.

This just sums up my way of thinking.
Ignorance of the rules is never an excuse and just because it was not their intention I feel like they should just wait for 30 days to get unbanned
