This logic is horrible fabric is fully legal and doesn’t have a api moderating it

The difference is that Feather by default includes mods we don't allow. With regular Fabric you have to explicitly add those disallowed mods. If we allowed feather anyone using it would instantly fail a screenshare because we'd have no way of knowing if they had any of Feather's "illegal" mods enabled before the screenshare.

maybe just man up and allow those useless mods because in reality, no one cares, they are accessible to anyone with a tenth of a brain it is really no advantage.
