I was permabanned a year and a half ago for hate speech, I'd like start by taking full responsibility and accountability for my actions. I created and participated in an alliance discord that nurtured a lot of racist, homophobic, and hateful behavior. The discord's name, roles, channels all had the n-word casually dropped, some of which I made myself. This led to a greater ban wave. I also casually dropped hateful comments and slurs. As a result of my actions there are members of the community who have been affected and these derogatory remarks have no place in the world or on the server. I'd like to again sincerely apologize to anyone who was negatively affected by this.
I've had a lot of time to reflect on my actions and it's helped me become a better person. I wish I had the maturity back to see what I did was wrong and avoided it in the first place. I was banned for the discord and hate speech but I can't say I didn't have it coming. I was disrespectful to the staff team, attempted to circumnavigate the rules, and was just an all around unpleasant person. I'd like to apologize to the staff team directly for being rude and difficult to deal with.
Quickly after I was banned I deleted the discord and the hateful content off of my YouTube channel. I didn't want to be associated with that kind of content. My channel was a way to highlight the best of Loka and having hateful content in it wasn't funny and just made the server look bad. I have also made the effort to bring a positive impact to the other communities I'm a part of. Once again, I have done a lot of things I regret and would not do if I got a chance to do it all over again. I understand if this needs more time, I hope I can get chance to prove myself and make a positive impact on the server.
