I hate it when people ask me a question and then they join a ranked game and I have already typed out my reply and I cant send it to them due to them being in ranked. Allow players to receive messages in Ranked games. They have a few seconds in the cage where they can see it right? And if they cant at least they can read it when they are out of the game.

That is very impractical, no one is going to be waiting 30 seconds for you to lose a match just to ask you the question. It's like using the mail system, no one does that.

I doubt that messages would be able to cross outside the survival server like that, but regardless of technical details I don't think most people would really want to be disturbed especially in ranked. Maybe in normal duels though.

I hate it when my message doesn't go through for any reason, it should fallback to either /mail or just send it to them once they are out of their ranked game, and tell me when it is sent to them.
