I say a privately registered cell phone number would be the most real-time method. This would let anyone know at any time of day that something is going on. Email, twitter, or Facebook could take exponentially longer to see a notification from than a text.

If you have an iPhone your phone vibrates when you get an email. Well if it's turned on. And set up.

I think Skype would be the best, for me anyways. I don't have a cell phone or any kind of social media. The closet thing I have that would count as a social media account would be the forums.

I'd say skype but the chat gets a little too crowded so as long as emails are sent atleast a day in advance of any event, that's where my vote lies.

I think Email's going to be the best bet here. It reaches the widest audience, probably the quickest for the most part, and if you're on the forums, you have an email account so I can be sure everyone has one. Whether they check it often is what it is, but I'll stick to forum emails.

I have to look into the whole phishing thing it claims to be. Essentially that's because I'm sending the email and "saying" it comes from [email protected] without authenticating it properly (which is more difficult).
