the new loka chat is very bland, boring and imo trash bring back the old chat so the server can have some life. Every time I look at new chat I get depressed

instead of the rank in old chat u can have the chat people are typing in like Public or wtv

+1 the new chat just lacks any life and honestly just feels harder to read for people with slight visual impairments

Chat isn't something that is meant to be colorful. It should be visually pleasing and easy to read without any unnecessary bloat. The new chat greatly simplified and unified public chat to be more consistent with the way other visuals on Loka appear. Adding a legacy mode or returning to legacy chat would be nothing but counterproductive. However, if there are specific ways we could improve the new chat, please suggest those!

We also briefly talked about the potential for colorblind accessibility options in the last LCR meeting, and chat would almost certainly be included in this. We're aware that it's something that needs to be tackled.
