The doxing rules have come to this point because of the behavior of some portions of the community lack the ability not to post pictures of people's faces and other personal information, which is something we consider very highly detrimental. Doxing is something that is extremely serious for a number of reasons but above all the person's privacy. Not to mention that you can get into serious trouble outside the internet.

Ironically, some people claim that the rules need improvement, however, their current state is what we have come to in order to protect our community and last June we cemented our stance on this.

He went out of his way to go and take a picture of Redbugatti (revealing information that could be used to identify him) and post it for the members of the Noobville Discord Server, thus circulating the information out to the public, all without permission!

I wonder if this has a dictionary definition?

thats not doxxing but ok

In your statement above u highlighted the message " publish private or identifying information about" in relation to the definition of doxxing. Did purk not publish identifying infomation (redbuggati's face, even going as far as to label that is in fact him)?

Redbugatti put his own face in the discord under his discord account so people may assume it's him. Also it hasnt been confirmed that it's him soooooooooo

-1 it’s literally been said multiple times that if u post someone’s irl information no matter how public it is and if they then go on to report you it’s gonna be treated like a doxxing ban because it is. Your publicizing someone’s personal information which is doxxing.
In this case though, redbuggati told purk that the photo he sent in noobville was not him. Purk then sent it since the photo was apparently not him and then buggati reported him for doxxing. Buggati and Purk are both in fault but Purk shouldn’t be banned for doxxing

what are you saying man, why would staff force a player to send them personal infomation? you just gotta stop talking man
if its actually them and they sent a face reveal in a public server why wont they be willing to dm an elder a pic of them in a diff spot so its proof its them and the ban happens

Look the whole situation is a mess, but redbuggati told purk that the photo he sent wasn’t him. If that wasn’t him then why is him sending that photo around a doxx if the person in the photo was not him?
