Implement in Future Do something about griefing tiles before fights

The last 2 fights were horrible in terms of the quality of the battle zone, first fight we had a massive lava wall behind the tgen and now we placed a ton of crafting tables, furnaces, berry bushes and other things to make the fight not fun. Let's come up with a solution or agree to not make fights so horrible and cheesy because conquest is gonna come down to who can grief the battlezone more before the fight and that won't be fun.

Encouraging wild fights on tiles before the actual conquest fight isn't a good idea imo, especially for new players.
Agreed. Allowing people to place stuff like crafting tables is just stupid because of how it cheeses PVP. Making actual defenses on tiles is cool, but just spamming crafting tables is not, especially for newer players.
 
Well its a conquest fight, there doesn't really need to be a wilds fight before the fight unless it's to prevent one side from placing on it
Yeah, preventing players from placing on a tile is a strategy, but covering half of the enemy's side with crafting tables just ruins the fight and makes it less fun. Fortunately this doesn't happen every fight, if it would I'm pretty sure many players would stop playing conquest because it's just annoying and ruins the gameplay.
 
I think there are some straight-up griefs that make the fight inconvenient for both sides and should therefore be prevented however removing construction completely in battle zones is a bad idea imo.
You should be rewarded for strategically setting the battlefield up before the fight to push the terrain to your advantage or for luring your enemies into a trap.
Being able to have a fight before the big fight is a super cool thing and something that Loka should try to develop rather than remove. The idea of both sides having to send in small pre-fight teams and possibly more structures you could build that provide buffs or that act similarly to a module on the tgen would be super cool and could add lots more variation to fights.

I think the best way to go about it would be to ban certain blocks that make the tile super bad, but I totally agree with you on letting players build structures before the fight. Super cool if people would do that!

I respect your point of view, however, as Lurnn said it would make conquest fights 1-2 hours longer and what if the enemies won't show up? It would be just a huge waste of time. If that happened a couple of times, I personally (and maybe others too) would stop palying conquest and do other things such as building in my town. Conquests fights are fine imo, there's no need to add a pre-fight to the actual fight.
