Ban: Hacking (2w)
I'd like to first start of saying that I am innocent, and haven't hacked, cheated, or used a connection modifier (ie: Net Limiter, Net Balancer, etc) on Loka.
I've talked to Cryptite and multiple people about my ban and how I should best explain my current situation. Cryptite told me the a previous person was banned for the exact same reason as me, and admitted to regedit and stayed ban for that. (ERDEMKOELEKIKKER)
Let me first start off, I believe regedit is a placebo effect or barely does a difference. I have installed regedits in the past but I have reset my PC multiple times including on stream a few days ago and my lag still occurred (Ask sborm for proof) (Resetting your PC resets your regedit). My lag first started occurring when the server updated to 1.17.1, as I did not teleport or lag like I did before that which I find oddly strange.. I believe that my lag may be occurring to simply a bad connection to the server OR my client not being able to process packets fast enough which causes me to start lagging when I begin hitting/get hit or take knockback, but not when I'm just moving around. This isn't the same as packet loss, with packet loss the hit or anything else would not even register. (This is what I think is occurring but I could be very wrong as I don't know much about it) I asked one. I'm from one of the farthest points in the United States West coast (Los Angeles) and I get an somewhat unstable 90-110ms, considering the host is located all the way in Montreal (across the continent) then I'm sure it has something to do with it.
I'd also like to point that my lag isn't as noticeable on my POV compared to others, which I find very odd considering when looking at other people's POVs I am lagging my balls off, but knowing this and seeing other people lag like me, I know that the issue not only me.
<-- My POV of a 30 minute 1v1 against Tryhard where I was lagging noticeably but not on my screen/POV. Minecraft itself is a very scuffed game when it comes to connection and is largely connection based and is very unpredictable. I'd also like to say that there simply is not enough proof of me using a connection modifier on Loka nor any cheats/clients. I've never been screen shared on Loka and never have I downloaded Net Balancer or similar Why I believe regedit isn't a cheat. Upon installing a version of Windows, windows will automatically create a regedit (it needs it to run the operating system) so this means if regedits aren't "placebo" then there is a small or large chance that when a person installs windows they will automatically have something in windows that makes their knockback more delayed or better hit registration etc., and simply installing one is just giving you a better experience and all claims of it being a "huge advantage" are just a placebo effect. It does not make you x10 better nor give you 0 KB, it just makes the game feel smoother at best.
I'm also looking forwards to the new host to see if I am less laggy. (I should get 20ms less.) Even if most of the stuff I've said in this post is not taken for granted, I believe I should still be unbanned due there simply not being enough proof of me using something. I'd also appreciate if all replies to this post are as civil as possible.
Sorry for my bad English
