I got some emeralds from market sales and now they can't make emerald blocks.

I had the same thing with iron ingots. What you need to do is put them into a crafting table and, with normal emeralds in your inv, shift click them out of the crafting table. This converts them to normal emeralds for some reason, and then they can be crafted with.

Tried this again and it didn't work, now I have about 2 stacks of ems in my inv that I can't do anything about.
