Chapter 1: Joining the Game

Scene: Intro

@Mr_Void99 Joined The Game...

The air was cold and chilly; very chilly. Trees swayed in the wind making the wood creak and groan. The only source of light was a beacon… Mr_Void99 walked over to... what seemed to be a... a... iron building?

Mr_Void99 called out "Hello? Is anyone there?" No answer. He looked out into the inky blackness but saw a glowing wall was surrounding him... keeping him near this building.

A voice suddenly spoke in Mr_Void99's mind. "Mr_Void99, welcome... we do not get many new people this time of year..." A hooded man appeared... he had skin the color of coffee. The man scratched his chin. Mr_Void asked through his chattering teeth because it was getting colder. Where am I, and how come I can't remember anything; like how I got here?

The Man chuckled... "Everything will be explained to you momentarily... Now, please step inside the building; for your test." Then he disappeared in a swirl of silver ribbons. Mr_Void99 shook his head, not because he was confused... well that too, but it had started snowing and snow was landing on his ears. (Mr_Void99 hates snow on his ears) He put his hands in his pockets and ran into the iron building.

Inside it was warm and welcoming. Heated iron glowed above the door, creating some sort of decontaminating airlock. He shook the rest of the snow off of his body before making his way into the room with obsidian paved floors.

Standing next to the beacon mounted to the wall was the Man who had just disappeared. Mr_Void99 asked him. "What is your name?" The man thought for a minute then said. "My name is @Cryptite" Mr_Void99 nodded then asked, "What is this?" as he tapped the beacon.

Cryptite said. "This is a land called Loka. Many people came here to seek sanctuary from the evil laser wielder named Notch; but once you enter the boundaries your mind is wiped so you can begin a new life."

Mr_Void99 thought about that for a moment. Cryptite; eager to move things along clapped his hands and said. "Alright face the challenge and destroy the beacon and you will be allowed into Loka... if you fail... you die... and you stay dead." He clapped his hands and everything roared to life.

It took Mr_Void99 a while to figure out how to destroy the beacon, there were two other ones hidden in the ceiling too. Mr_Void99 finally destroyed the beacon after 15 minutes of hard work.

Cryptite clapped his hand together and everything reset.

He held out his hand to Mr_Void99 and congratulated him with a smile on his face. "Good job Void you're ready for Loka, but remember... there are dangers there too, other people run rampant through the wilds and seek to kill other people only for their shards... so be careful; make friends, build a base or town, join one... just don't get killed; ok?" Void nodded and said, "Ok Crypt, will do”

Cryptite backed up and whispered a spell "Hor ix nay Del super TP!" and with that! Mr_Void99 was gone.

Cryptite pulled out a radio and said into it "Yeah, I sent another there for you @Jammin_Mas, kill him if you want; but get his head for me. I want it on a pike" Cryptite put the radio away and muttered I have work to do; Grandpa Notch... I have work to do." and disappeared.

Chapter 2: The Castle

Scene: Escaping the Castle

Void appeared on a cobblestone platform in a magnificent chamber somewhere in a cold damp castle. The chamber smelled of fresh-earth and rotting-wood. Void turned opened his inventory to take stock with what he had. He counted 16 wood logs, an iron sword and pick, and 32 cooked chicken. How they got there Void had no clue. Void stepped off the platform and looked around.

There was only one exit... a long dark hallway that smelled of still water. Void slowly crept towards the hallway. He yelled down into it, HELLO? It echoed... HELLO? Hello? Hello? hello?...

Void cautiously made his way into the hallway... Going deeper and deeper into it...

After 3 or so minutes of walking through the inky darkness, Void saw a light at the end of the tunnel.

The still water smell got stronger with every step. Void finally exited the tunnel only to find a gigantic pool of water! There was a stone brick line extending to the other end of the wall, where he could see another tunnel.

SCRAPE.

SCRAPE.

SCRAPE.

The hair on Voids neck stood up as he turned around to see... inky blackness down the tunnel he came from... except... there was a light... and Void could make out a person holding a shimmering diamond sword...

Void ran across the small stone brick line, lasers fired at him, but none hit. He ran like his life depended on it... which it did!

Void made it to the other tunnel and used his pick to break away the stone brick line the last 7 blocks. He smiled as he faced his chaser who was currently halfway over the stone brick line...but the lasers weren't firing at him!

Void could see him more clearly now... he had a deformed pig face... and a full diamond armor set. The diamond armor was glowing too...

Void's chaser stopped at the gap between him and Void. Void asked the person “Who are you?” The person said in a deep voice that sounded like nails on a chalkboard “I am @Jammin_Mas, Your Worst Nightmare!” He reached behind his back and pulled out... a... green orb? Too late, Void realized what it was...

Jammin threw the orb so it hit Void square in the chest... and Jammin disappeared with silver ribbons swirling around him and appeared not even a second later... in...Voids...Face!

Void tried to run but the heartless Jammin knocked him unconscious with the flat of his blade.

Void woke up in a dark cell... and almost threw up from the smell.

A voice whispered... Hello? Who are you? Void crawled to the bars and whispered to the cell next to him

My Name is Mr_Void99; do you know how to get out of here? A voice answered My name is @SCP_019 and no I don't know how to get out... that demon @Jammin_Mas locked me in here. He trapped me just after I spawned. Every day he takes someone from their cell and beheads them, I think I'm next.

@Mr_Void99 opened his inventory and wasn't very surprised to see that it was empty. SCP said Give me a minute, maybe I can come up with a plan.

20 minutes passed before they both heard it.

Clang.

Clang.

Clang.

SCP gasped He's coming! Get ready; I think I have a plan. Just grab him when he gets close to you.

Jammin rounded the corner and unlocked SCP's cell door. She walked slowly out of it. Jammin held his diamond sword to her back as he placed an anvil. SCP faked a cry Please Jammin_Mas, don't kill me and take my head.

He looked up slightly (probably to groan in annoyance) but when he looked up slightly it exposed his neck and that gave SCP an opening. She turned around, dodged the sword and karate chopped his neck.

Jammin doubled over in pain and dropped his sword. SCP picked it up and held it to Jammin's back. She kept the sword on him as she leaned over and pulled the key out of her cell door. She barked empty your inventory NOW! Jammin looked up at her; his face full of hate, but slowly he emptied his inventory.

SCP said to Void “1000 shards, a diamond sword and pick, full enchanted diamond armor, 2 enchanted bows, 3 stacks of arrows, and 6 ender pearls!”

She unlocked Voids cell and split everything with him except the pick and the armor, she kept those for herself.

Void armed himself with the bow "ranged weapons were his favorite" and put the sword in his left hand.

SCP poked Jammin with the pick and asked “Where are we?” Jammin chuckled... “Were in the Ice Taiga in western Kalros, but unless you have supplies... you're not going anywhere!” SCP knocked Jammin unconscious with the flat side of the pick. “You read my mind said Void”

SCP started running down the hallway... C'mon! Let's find a way out! Void ran after her; leaving Jammin unconscious on the floor

SEVERAL HOURS LATER

Jammin shook his head as he struggled to get up. A hand settled on his shoulder... Jammin gasped and got to his feet. It was @Cryptite! Jammin said “They got away, sir.” Cryptite smiled... “No problem... I know where they are... and I have sent someone from Hilo to meet them...”

Chapter 3: I Can't Feel My Toes... I Don't Have Any Toes!

Scene: Need Shelter

Void and SCP were caught in a blizzard; a very big one! It was freezing their toes through Void's Leather Boots he found on his way out of Jammin's castle; and SCP's diamond boots she stole from Jammin himself, but that was a while ago... Alost two whole days in fact! They were running very low on food; and as far as Void looked, there were no signs of life. They kept on walking...and walking... hoping they would find a cave soon.

Void reached into his bag and pulled out a torch (He stole it from Jammin's Castle) and lit it with some flint and steel (also from Jammin's Castle). It didn't give off much heat, but any heat was good.

Void yelled to SCP (but the blizzard made it sound like a muffled whisper) “I'm gonna stop and dig us a hole!” SCP looked confused... “You’re a pig defending the goal?” Void leaned in closer and yelled again “I'm gonna stop and dig us a hole!” SCP smiled and yelled “OK!”

Void pulled off his bag and yanked off the shovel that was tied to the back of it. He went to work chewing through the frozen dirt and gravel...lots of gravel, but finally made them a 5x5 hole 5 blocks under the ground.

SCP crawled in as soon as she saw it was done. She grabbed to torches out of Void's backpack and mounted them to the wall. Her fingers frozen fingers struggled as she tried to spark the steel against the flint. Click, Click, and Click Swpeh... A single spark jumped off the flint and landed on the torch setting it ablaze. SCP smiled before crashing against the wall, sound asleep.

Void sealed the exit with dirt and gravel so the heat would stay in, before nodding off to sleep as well.

Void woke up and was surprised to find that SCP was already up...and eating... That weird Alderan Sweetbread they had found in Jammin's Castle... It tasted... wrong to him, but he still managed to shove a loaf down his throat.

He looked into his bag and said “We only have 3 more Alderan Sweetbreads, so we need to find a settlement fast.”

Once they finished eating they stood up and dug their way out of their hiding spot, and were very surprised to find...a... giant fortification that had merged with the mountain! SCP_019 pulled out her diamond sword and held it at the ready then equipped her armor; Void drew his iron sword and held it at the ready. (Void could've taken iron armor at Jammin's Castle but he chose not to because he said it makes him feel trapped; and fighting without armor makes him more nimble)

CRUNCH, CRUNCH.

CRUNCH, CRUNCH.

Void turned around and saw a hooded figure wearing a black cloak and hood standing not 30 paces behind him. Both Void and SCP were very surprised... there had been no one there a moment ago...

The person asked “Why do you trespass on this land?” SCP yelled to him “We don't mean to trespass! We escaped @Jammin_Mas's Castle two days ago and were trying to find civilization!”

The person thought for a minutes; but kept their eyes on them. He finally said “Ok, I believe you; now I'm sorry about this but I can't have you telling anyone, especially Jammin about this town’s secret entrance.” Void and SCP glanced at each other

Void stepped forward and said, "Um we don't know about any secret entr..."

CONK!

Void spun around and barely saw SCP laying unconscious on the ground before something hit him on the forehead.

CONK!

Scene: Achievement: Joined a Town

Void groaned as he sat up...in a comfy bed? The room he was in was made of cobblestone and spruce wood. Someone was sitting next to him... the hooded figure with black robes! Except... His hood was down; he had a neat beard and golden hair. He said in a deep and commanding voice “Glad to see your up! Sorry about the concussion, you couldn't learn where the secret entrance is... You see Jammin is our worst enemy, so we built this fortification called Spectros to protect us from him, and as an extra measure we did not build a main entrance or exit; only a secret one, so he will never get in.” Void asked, “What’s your name?” The man answered: “SirAureon.”

Void stood up and said, “Listen, I don't do titles, so if you’re expecting me to call you Sir every time I want to talk to you; forget it.” Aureon laughed and said “Go right ahead! I don't care what you call me, and I won't call you Mr_!!!” He slapped his knee. Now let’s go; I have to give you a tour. Void froze for a minute. How did he know my name started with Mr_? Then got up and followed Aureon.

Outside it was cold, (Go Figure) and snow was everywhere! There was a fountain in the center of the town but it was turned off. Void thought “Probably because the water would freeze if it was ever turned on.” Aureon showed Void everything; from the unique houses and the tall watchtowers that towered (Pun Intended) over them.

Aureon explained that Spectros was built into the side of the mountain, leaving plenty of rooms for them to expand inside of it.

The Great Hall was the coolest place in Void's opinion; with banners strung all over it and the smell of that disgusting sweetbread that seemed to be coming from the kitchens. Void stopped and gasped “Where is SCP?” Aureon said, “I'm surprised you didn't remember earlier... but don't worry; she is safe... she's with ChessLlama.” Void looked relieved but asked “who?”

A voice shouted out “Me!” Void spun around and saw a young man wearing steampunk themed clothes. “I am ChessLlama! Good to meet you!” SCP stepped out from behind ChessLlama and waved at Void. “Come with me Void, you too Aureon; we need to talk about something.”

They followed Chess to a room that had a sign posted outside of it... It read WAR_ROOM. It was made out of a weird green block, cobblestone, and what looked like spruce and jungle planks.

Chess and Aureon sat in a chair across from him and SCP. Void noticed that SCP wasn't wearing her armor anymore. Chess asked “So... Aureon told me what you did to get here... The question is now... What are you going to do now?” SCP looked off to the side and thought for a moment, before saying I don't know... maybe hide somewhere...” Chess thought for a moment before saying “Why don't you stay here? We have 3 other people running around here somewhere... and the more the merrier! That would make 7” Void didn't even blink; he said Deal!

Aureon smiled “That’s good, SCP?” SCP looked unsure. She stared off into nothing, not saying anything; but from where Void was he could see that she was moving her lips ever so slightly... as though she was talking to someone.

She looked at Aureon and Chess and said “I would love to join your town!” then she finished off with a smile.

Chess said “Excellent! Now Aureon would you please go ready their rooms? I’m taking them to the armory to get them some good gear.” Aureon nodded and left the room.

Chess took them to the armory with was actually across the hall. He opened the door to reveal dozens of diamond equipment food chests. He gave one to SCP but was surprised when Void said he didn’t want one.

Void found a sword propped up against the wall; covered in spider webbing and dust. He asked, “May I please have this sword?”

Chess walked over and examined it. He tossed it to Void and said: “Why not?” Void caught it and saw a name carved into the hilt; he thought: Anvokr, now that’s a nice name. He bent back over and picked up a sheath for it, that also had the name Anvokr carved into it. He sheathed the sword and strung it to his belt.

GONG.

GONG.

GONG.

Chess’s head snapped up and whispered: “Who could be attacking us?”

He yelled “Hurry up and put your gear on! A person has been spotted outside the wall!”

Scene: Rise of Opyc

Outside there were three other people covered in diamond armor, who were running as fast as they could to the Eastern Watch Tower.

Aureon landed beside Void, wearing a wing set? Oh, he would have to ask him about that later... but before Void could ask him, he shot off again.

They made it to the Eastern Watchtower and saw two players standing motionless in the snow. One wore full diamond armor and held two diamond swords, and had a shield strapped to his back. The other one wore full diamond armor but only one sword... Void gasped; he recognized that face.

Void whispered to Chess, Aureon, and SCP “It’s Jammin” Aureon whispered under his breath “What does he want?”

Jammin stepped forward and yelled “Attention Spectros! You are currently harboring two players who I very much want! Please turn them over and I won’t kill every single one of you.”

One of the other people next to Void yelled “You’ve tried to break into here many times; what makes you think you can do it now?”

Jammin countered “So that’s a no?” Aureon held out his sword and yelled back “No, we will not turn over the people you seek.” Jammin chuckled... “As you wish...”

He looked at the person next to him and nodded. The person nodded and broke into a run, strait towards the wall.

(Kung Fu Panda 3: -Rise of Kai- starts playing now ;))

The stranger kept running and running, with no intent on stopping. Void thought he was going to face plant into the wall but instead he plunged both swords into the wall and used them to launch him up! He did it over and over again, getting closer and closer...

Aureon yelled “Archers, fire at will!” Two other people next to Void pulled out bows loaded with arrows. They started rapid firing arrows at the attacker while Jammin laughed!

Every single arrow missed. The Man (Void could tell by now) launched himself above them and brought his sword down onto the archer’s heads. Their bodies fell over and disintegrated leaving only their heads. The man chuckled and picked both of them up and tossed them over the edge for Jammin to pick up.

(Kung Fu Panda 3: -Rise of Kai- Ends)

The other unnamed player next to Void whimpered “Opyc” The Man chuckled “Yes” and threw one of his swords into the players gut. The player doubled over and disintegrated leaving again; his head. Opyc retrieved his sword and pointed one at Chess and one at Aureon. He said, “Give me them now, and no one else has to die.”

Aureon and Chess exchanged looks, but Aureon was secretly drawing his sword behind his back. He yelled “Over my dead body!” and brought his sword down on Opyc; Opyc blocked and gave Aureon an evil smile “Night Night” and used his second sword to stab Aureon in the chest. Aureon disintergrated, dropping his sword and head.

SCP screamed “No!” and threw her sword, aimed at Opyc’s heart. Opyc pulled out his shield so fast it was a blur and

THUNK!

SCP’s Sword embedded itself in Opyc’s shield. She gasped. Opyc threw his shield away and started coming towards them.

Chess pulled out an ender pearl “Time to go!” and threw it. He grabbed Void and SCP and they were teleported to the base of the water fountain. Chess yelled “C’mon! Let’s go!”

Void and SCP jumped into the fountain and followed Chess down a hidden staircase. The tunnel at the bottom of the stairs was slimy and cold. Void almost slipped several times.

Chess led them through what seemed like a labyrinth. They could hear the footsteps of Opyc and possibly Jammin following them through the underground network.

They entered a room with a beacon in it. Chess ran next to it and pulled a lever, and the roof crumbled. Void and SCP’s jaw dropped. A 2x2 hole went all the way to the top of the mountain! Chess flipped another switch and the beacon roared to life; sending a blue beam of light high into the sky.

Shouting came from down the hall. Chess scribbled down something onto a piece of paper with a quill he had produced from his inventory. He tossed the paper into the beam and it disintegrated, and the beam sent the ashes into the sky.

Chess readied his sword. He yelled “Ok guys... do you see the tunnel to your left?” SCP replied “The smelly one?” “Bingo, now follow that and it should take you in the direction of the port, get on a ship and get off at the marketplace; there you will be safe. I will try to hold them off for as long as I can.” Void reached for Chess with his mouth open; about to say “No, we can’t leave you.” But Chess yelled “NOW!” Void grabbed SCP’s hand and ran towards the exit. Before he got there he asked Chess. “Chess, why are you doing this for us?” Chess answered “Because if Jammin and Opyc want you guys, they want you for a very good reason. Now GO!” Void nodded and ran into the tunnel; closely followed by SCP. The last thing they heard before the sword clashing was “COME AND GET SOME!”

Void and SCP followed the tunnel for several hours, with no supplies they didn’t even stop to rest.

After about 4 hours they saw a light at the end of the tunnel. They broke into a sprint. They heard waves crashing! They finally reached the end! They exited the tunnel and were relieved to find a ship at the dock!

When they boarded the ship they were surprised to find that there was no crew, but the sails unfurled and the rudder turned on its own. So they decided not to worry. They crashed in the hammocks that they found below decks and quickly fell asleep.

Cryptite’s Lair

Far away in a hidden base, Cryptite watched Void and SCP sleep aboard the ship, as it took them to The Marketplace. He was watching them through a modified Nether Portal he had constructed.

Cryptite picked up his radio and asked into it. “You’ve failed me again Jammin. Why is he so different then the countless ones you’ve slaughtered?” A voice came back over the radio. “Sir, don’t worry; I will have this pest exterminated shortly.” Cryptite eyes flashed red; he spoke back into the radio with a demonic voice. “If you fail me again Jammin, I will dispose of you myself.”

Silence

“Understood, sir!” and the radio beeped 3 times, signaling Jammin had turned his radio off. Cryptite sat back down and began concocting a new plan; just in case Jammin failed him again...

Chapter 4: A Teacher

Scene: The Marketplace

The ship docked several days after Void and SCP escaped from Opyc and Jammin. SCP and Void both had their armor safely stowed in Void’s pack.

They disembarked and were pleased to find a vender that was giving away free... Alderan Sweetbread... Void scarfed it down though, because he was too hungry to try to find something else.

They explored the market place and were astounded to find that other people roamed there, not attacking each other.

Some of the people seemed quite and withdrawn; but others seemed to enjoy conversing with the other people. Void caught: “I have a plan to take him down.” And “There’s rumor that a stronghold has fallen...”

SCP seemed to be gravitating towards three giant buildings. The buildings seemed more... more... well, Void couldn’t put his finger on it but it seemed; more alive compared to Spectros, which was really just stone bricks and spruce wood. This seemed grand.

Void followed SCP to the three buildings; but there was another building... this one was underground and had a staircase entrance. Void followed SCP down the stairs into a room with different banners. SCP told Void: “I’m gonna go look at these ok? I’ll be right back.”

Void nodded and drew Anvokr and sat down on the steps examining his sword, as he had done on the ship. The hilt had the name Anvokr carved into it and Void had absolutely no idea what Anvokr could possibly mean.

STEP.

STEP.

STEP.

Void stood up with his sword in his ready. A man was standing at the top of the stairs. The man causally walked down the stairs towards Void.

Void could see now that this man wasn’t a man but in fact a 14-16 year old boy wearing a suit; but his face was very unusual. It resembled a creeper.

He held out his hand and said in a very friendly voice: “the name’s @catfishjw! Pleased to meet you; Chess sent for me and told me to meet you guys at the Market Place. Where’s SCP? ”

SCP came around the corner and said: “I’m here.” SCP then went over to Void and stood next to him and Cat.

Void stuttered: “When could he have done that! We were with him the entire time of the attack!” SCP nudged Void with her shoulder and whispered: “The paper he threw into the beacon; it must be a kind of message system”

Cat nodded: “Yes, the paper instantly appeared in my hands. Now let’s go, we need to get you to safety.”

SCP interrupted “But how could we be more protected then being here? No one can hurt us here.” Cat nodded “If Jammin or Opyc find you here then the will surround you and not let you leave; and remember, you’ll get hungry eventually.” SCP thought about that and nodded “Let’s go then.” Cat chuckled… “Follow me”

Cat lead them back through the Market Place. Next to the docks was a building; with a portal visible from the outside. Cat took them into the building and pulled out two coins engraved with a catfish on it. He gave one to SCP and one to Void. “You can only get to where we are going through this portal IF you have that coin. Now let’s go.” He walked into the portal and disappeared. Void and SCP followed.

Scene: The Redstone Master

Void and SCP appeared in a giant cave next to Cat. The cave was so big it could’ve fit five Market Places in it! In the center there was a redstone block pyramid about 30 blocks wide and 30 blocks long. There was a golden beacon coming from the top streaking towards the ceiling. The walls were made of a mixture of dirt, mossy cobble, and redstone blocks. Redstone lamps hung from the ceiling 200 blocks above; casting down a faint light.

Cat laughed and said “Just in case you haven’t guessed… they call me The Redstone Master.” Void whispered “It’s amazing!” but SCP asked: “What’s that?” and stared at the giant redstone pyramid. Cat said: That’s my defense. I’m still working on it and it’s taken over a year to get it this far, but let’s say… it wasn’t easy.

A new voice yelled from above them from a platform Void hadn’t noticed. “No it was not! There were several… accidents.” He jumped down and SCP gasped. He looked the same age as cat but his skin color was wrong. Cat had black eyes and a green face that resembled a creeper; while this guy had blue eyes and white skin. His face still resembled a creeper’s though none the less. He also wore different style clothes; Cat chose a business suit while Mind chose more of a royal suit, a suit that looked like it belonged on a king.

He held out his hand. “@mindblaster007 at your service; I’m cat’s older brother.” Cat rolled his eyes and said: “By a MINUTE!” Mind stuck his tongue at cat. Cat chuckled and slapped Mind on the back “But I’m more mature; and smarter. He couldn’t have built this!” He gestured at the redstone pyramid.

SCP looked uneasy. “So what does it do?” Cat chuckled again. Mind asked nervously: “So should I show you to your room?” Cat clapped his hands. “An excellent idea!” Mind started off in the direction of a hallway that was underneath the platform he had jumped off of. Cat waved his hand for SCP and Void to follow Mind.

Void and SCP followed Mind down a short hallway. At the end of the hallway there was a switch on the wall connected to who knows what. On the right of the switch there was a spruce door with a key hanging next to it. Mind took the key off the rack and handed it to Void; Void quickly put it in his pocket.

“This is your guy’s room, keep it clean please. We will come and get you tomorrow to begin your training.” Void was just about to ask what training but SCP beat him to it. “Chess also asked us to make sure you guys are trained in the arts such as Sword fighting and Redstone.” Void and SCP nodded, and then Mind left without another word.

SCP pushed open the door to reveal a decent size room. It had the basics. Two beds, two double chests besides the beds, a crafting table, two furnaces, and a cauldron filled with water.

The room also had birch wood and spruce walls. In each corner there was a birch beam to help support the roof.

Void sat down on the bed and opened his chest. He was surprised to find that there was a glass bottle, several… Alderan Sweetbread loafs (Void found he was detesting these more and more), and an empty pail. SCP went to work examining the room; why? Void had no idea, maybe some habit she kept when she crossed into Loka.

SCP stopped near the cauldron; she asked “Come over here, doesn’t it feel colder by this cauldron?” Void got up and went over to the cauldron. It did feel colder over here. “That’s just the water making the cauldron cold” he told SCP.

SCP still looked unsure. She dipped her hand in the water and brought it out looking confused. She whispered under her breath: “Then why’s the water warm?”

Void out his hand on SCP’s shoulder and said “C’mon take a load off. You heard Mind; we will probably be busy tomorrow.” He pulled his hand away and went over to his bed and crashed on it. He didn’t even bother putting the items in his bag away. He just fell right to sleep.

Scene: Students of the Master

Void woke up to the sound of a gong.

GONG.

GONG.

GONG.

He quickly sat up fearing that they were under attack. SCP was already up and had her armor halve on! She yelled to Void “C’mon lets go see what this is about.” Before Void could get out of bed though a note slipped under the door; and a heavy Ka-Chink came from the door.

SCP picked up the note and read it out loud. “Your first test; figure out how to get out or starve.” She looked up at Void. “Do you have any ideas?”

Void stood up and started sliding his armor on; while he did this he said: “Well maybe the key he gave us would work?” SCP checked the door. “No use, there’s no lock from the inside… maybe we could.” She stood up and walked over to her chest and opened it. “Mine’s empty; is there anything in yours?” Void opened it and showed her the glass bottle, bread, and empty pail. She broke into a grin. “I know what to do!” She grabbed the pail and went over to the cauldron and scooped the water out of the cauldron. There was a click-click sound and a fake wall piece slid into the wall and out of sight while a piston grabbed a hold of the cauldron and pulled it one block into the wall revealing a hidden passage underneath where the cauldron was.

Void looked at SCP in astonishment. “How did you figure that out?” SCP smiled. “Last night I found out that for some reason the cauldron was very cold; but you said it was the water keeping it cold, but when I touched the water last night I found that the water was warm. That’s how I knew; this tunnel had a draft and it was keeping the cauldron cold.”

Void was stunned at how she had figured that out. He said: “Wow that was very smart.” Was it just Voids imagination or did SCP slightly blush?

He tied his swords sheath to his waist and went over to the cauldron. He looked down into it and couldn’t see the bottom. He grinned at SCP “Ladies first” and winked. She scoffed at Void and jumped down into the hole; seconds later Void jumped in to.

Void fell for about 7 seconds before landing on a slime block. SCP was already off the slime block and walking down the tunnel. Void quickly got up and started following her through the dark, because the tunnel had no torches.

While they walked in the darkness Void started thinking about SCP. How did she do karate in Jammin’s Castle and how did she know how to do that thing with the cauldron? Weren’t their memories supposed to be wiped? Void had found SCP in Jammin’s Castle in the cell next to his; she couldn’t have been there for more then 2-3 days. Void decided to stop thinking about that and file those thoughts away for a rainy day.

SCP and Void both felt their way through the dark tunnel, for there were no lights to help them see. The tunnel forked right, then left then right, then down, and eventually did a spiral upward.

They reached a dead end after a couple minutes of walking. Void felt the wall and said: “No, no, no! How could this be a dead end?”

SCP went to work examining the sidewalls. She brushed her hand all over them and stopped when her hand reached the bottom. Void heard a switch click.

In front of them pistons sprung out and pulled away the stone bricks. When the bricks were pulled away they revealed a small 12x12ish size room. Most of the room was covered in plants, waterfalls, and redstone dust just casually sprinkled everywhere; but in the center of the room there were three chairs. Catfish sat in the one that was facing the other two, Catfish sat on the chair with his eyes closed, not moving at all. Behind Catfish there was a door. Void and SCP walked over to the chairs and sat down. The pistons behind them extended again and put the bricks back in their place, sealing the wall again and leaving no trace that there was ever a hole.

The door behind Cat opened to reveal Mind. “Hey Cat, I just gave them the note and locked their door…” He looks at Void and SCP. SCP gave him a shy wave. “WHAT!” Cat opened his eyes and said: “They only arrived mere moments before you.” Mind takes another look at Void and SCP and closes the door. Cat asks Void and SCP: “So tell me? How did you escape?” Void let SCP tell how they did it because he really didn’t do anything.

When SCP was done, Cat asked SCP and Void a very simple question. “You had a sword did you not? Why didn’t you just break down the door?” He gave Void and SCP a mischievous smile. “You two are over thinkers; you thought that it was going to be a complicated way of getting out; when the other way out was really quite simple. Although if you had done that I would’ve told you that you did not look closely enough, that you just found an easy way and took it.” SCP looked confused. “So we were doomed to fail no matter what?” Cat said “No, there is always a way to pass. You would’ve passed if Void had taken one route and SCP had taken another, but instead you stuck together. That I now know is your weakness. You want to be with somebody, because you are afraid to be alone. Now that I know your weakness however, we can move forward quickly in your training.”

Void was stunned at the extent of Cat’s knowledge. He had set this up knowing that there was only a small chance of passing, and had cleverly deduced Void’s weakness. He was afraid to be alone; he wanted a friend to be there beside him always. He knew SCP must fell the same way; from how she had acted in the hall with the banners in it.

Cat stood up and said: “Follow me please, we now move to the next lesson, sword fighting. Void got excited; he was eager to learn more about the art of the blade, because his life might depend on it someday.

Cat guided them to the sparing fields. It was underground (as usual). The field was about the size of the Market Place and somehow, even down here; in a place with no natural light. Cat had grown grass; for the entire field was covered in it.

Mind was there setting up several armor stands wearing leather armor, he saw them and waved.

Cat asked to see Void’s blade. Void unsheathed it and carefully handed it to Cat. Cat studied every inch of it. About 2 minutes had passed when he asked: “How did you get this? This belonged to Aureon and I know he would not part with it willingly.” Void told Cat that Chess had taken them to the armory right before Jammin and Opyc attacked and He had found it lying against the wall coated in dust. Chess agreed to let him have it after briefly looking at it.

Cat said to Void: “This was the sword that Aureon was holding when he appeared in Loka. He had a special place in his heart for this; and I don’t think Chess knew or he would’ve never given this to you.”

Void suddenly felt guilty for taking Aureon’s prize sword, but that guilty feeling faded when he realized that if Aureon truly loved this sword he would’ve had it on him; not letting it collect dust in the armory.

Cat tossed the sword back to him and told them: “So, Mind has set up these practice dummies. I want you to attack these and try to (kill them). Just break off a crucial part that any living person needs.

SCP asked cat: Do you have a sword for me? I lost mine when we were battling Opyc and Jammin. Cat turned around and jogged over to a stack of broken armor stands and yanked an iron sword out of one of them. He jogged back over to SCP and handed it to her. He said: “We’ll get you a proper diamond sword and pick soon, but for now use this. SCP nodded and readied herself. Cat saw that she was ready and said: “Go!”

SCP ran towards the armor stand and threw her blade into it moments before she made contact with it. Her sword penetrated the leather armor and ran itself all the way through the stand causing it to crack; but SCP wasn’t done. She jumped over the stands head and wrapped her legs around the armor stands neck as she fell behind it and twisted her legs so hard the head popped off. She retrieved her sword and came back over to Void and Cat. Behind her Mind was still standing there with his mouth open, and He wasn’t the only one; Void was pretty impressed too. Void again wondered how she knew that.

She asked Cat “How was that?” with a slight hint of pride. Cat must’ve noticed that too because he said “Sloppy. What if there were multiple people huh? You also seem to have a bad habit of throwing your weapons away!” SCP looked slightly hurt after he said that, but quickly hid it.

Cat looked at Void. “You’re up.” Void nodded and readied himself. Cat yelled: “Go!” Void held his sword and started sprinting at the other amour stand dummy.

Void raised his sword high on his right side and brought it down with all his might. There was a slight (SHWING) and after that came the sound of wood splitting and a boom! Void suddenly felt very tired as he slowed to a halt.

Void looked behind him and was shocked to see that the dummy had been cut in halve in a diagonal line and thrown backwards at least 5 blocks. Void looked at Mind, SCP, and then Cat. All of them has shocked or surprised faces.

Void went back over to Cat. Cat recovered and said: “Very good, good form, and a decent slash. Please let me see the sword.” Void carefully handed the sword to Cat. Cat looked at the edge very closely. He said after a couple minutes. “I think that this has Sharpness V and Knockback 3. That means it’s a pretty good sword, but it will make you tired the more you use it. Enchantments need fuel to work so they will take your energy.” He handed it back to Void. “Be careful not to touch the edges.” Void nodded and sheathed it.

Cat said: “Ok now that I have seen a fraction of your styles, let’s spar.” He jogged back over to the broken dummy pile and pulled out four sticks and came back. He handed one each to Void, SCP, and Mind; and kept one for himself. “Void I want you to fight with Mind and SCP your with me. The goal is to get the other player to surrender; no cheating, be honorable, and remove your amour.” Void, Mind, SCP nodded and did as they were told.

Void followed Mind to the other end of the field where the grass was weirdly wet. Mind chose to put his weight on his front leg adopting an offensive stance while Void chose to put his weight on his back leg, adopting a defensive stance. Void was about to say that he was ready when he heard SCP yell “Ready!” Void turned his head to watch SCP, but was dumbstruck when cat had he on her back with his stick at her neck in 5 seconds flat.

Void turned back to Mind and told him “Ready!” Mind smiled and used the weight on his front leg to catapult him towards Void. Void held his stick above his head, making it lean down slightly; hoping that Mind’s stick would slide off. I did not. Mind brought his sword down as hard as he could; so hard that it broke Void’s stick in halve. Before Void could react Mind used his foot to kick Void down onto the grass and brought his stick to Void’s throat. Void noted that both Cat and Mind liked defeat their opponents the same way.

Void stood up and shook Mind’s hand. Mind told: “That was ok, but always try to be the first one to attack.” Void thanked him for the advice.

Cat called them over to him. When they got to him he said: We have work to do, it might take several weeks of hard work but I can make you into decent swordsmen, and swordswomen. But for now take the rest of the day off; I need to go plan your lessons now that I know your style and weaknesses.” Void and SCP thanked him and left the field together. Void told SCP he was going back to the room to get some rest and SCP told Void that she wanted to go explore more of the town. So they parted ways.

It took Void several minutes to find his way back to their room. When he did he collapsed on his bed and quickly fell asleep.

The Market Place

Jammin and Opyc debarked from their ship, and made their way to the mountain that loomed in the distance a while away from Spawn. They followed the trail into the mountain and turned left once they got to a crossroads.

Underneath them there was a giant cave filled with still water. They followed the trail left and came up to an iron door with no buttons or switches. Jammin walked up to it and knocked on it 4 times then gave it a high-five three times. The door slowly swung open.

Jammin and Opyc continued past the door. Opyc asked: “What is this?” Jammin kept walking. “You know how when you come here your memories are erased? Well they have to be somewhere, and that somewhere is here.” Jammin rounded a corner and entered a large room, about a 100x100x50 block size room to be exact.

The room was covered in item frames; each filled with a bottle containing a weird reddish liquid. Above each of the bottles there was a sign with a name on it. Most of them were ones that Jammin knew; such as @ArcherSquid , @Skuhoo , and @koi0007 .

Jammin told Opyc: “Crypt told you that he would give you your memories if you helped him; and believe me, my plan is perfect now. What would Void give to get his memories back? They are a part of him.” Opyc saw his memories and reached for them. “No, Opyc; if you take those I will be forced to kill you. Just wait until you complete Crypt’s request.” Jammin found a bottle under Void’s name and removed it. He muttered under his breath “Check Void.”

He turned to leave when something caught his eye. There was another bottle missing just three blocks away from Void’s. He went over to it and looked at the name. It was scratched out but Jammin could just make out the name; SirAureon.

Chapter 5: A Different Point of View

Scene: The One Who Remembers

Cryptite’s Lair

@Jammin_Mas , @Cryptite , and @Opyc stood around a map. They had pinned down several possible locations that Cat’s base could be. The jungle forests of Garama, The grey plains of Ascalon, and the resource isles; but they had checked all of them, and found nothing except a bunch of hostile and well-protected towns.

Crypt took Opyc and left after several minutes of trying to find where they were. Crypt had told Jammin that even his looking glass couldn’t find out where they were; there was some kind of protection spell over them.

Jammin stared down at the map. Wondered how they could evade capture and keep their base secret. Then he remembered a town that @koi0001 had once built, koi had kept it a secret; only telling a select few. One of those few was Jammin.

Jammin looked back down at the map, determined to find out where @catfishjw , @Mr_Void99 , and @SCP_019 were. He took a closer look at Garama; a place Cat had been seen scouting over a year ago. That was the last time anyone had seen him outside of the Market Place. He could’ve found somewhere different though.

Jammin still looked at Garama. He followed the streams looking for a secure place to build a base; maybe an underground one, but then… maybe they survived off of an underground lake or river.

Jammin was too tired; he rolled up the map and tucked it away on one of the many shelves that lined the room. He left the room and closed the door behind him.

He made his way back to his temporary room the Cryptite had given him. He closed and locked his door behind him and laid down on his bed. His room was pretty big; it had a double bed and a window overlooking the blackness swirling around them. The castle was pretty impressive; it was made out of cobble, stone bricks, and nether brick. Jammin had even copied some of Crypt’s defenses and applied them to his own base in Kalros.

Jammin rolled over to right side of his bed and pulled out the bottle of Void’s memories. He sloshed them around before setting them back. He rolled back over and stared at the ceiling. He muttered under his breath: “Oh Void you’ve caused me so much trouble, you and that blasted girl SCP. She’s dangerous, too dangerous. I should’ve killed her the moment I captured her.”

He fluffed his pillow while still laying down. I never should have trusted Crypt. I did fully; up until the point I found my memories. (Crypt tried to seize control but failed to kill Notch; so he went into hiding. He secretly founded Loka and lured everyone here so he could kill them. He took their memories so they would be more trusting, more docile; but made the mistake of keeping the memoires. Instead of burning them like he should have.) Jammin still remembered that day when he had found his memories, how could he forget?

Jammin had been living in Loka for about a year before he made the mistake of following Cryptite to the memory room. He had seen Cryptite use the code on the door and tried it himself after Crypt had left. When he did he succeeded in drinking his memories; but at the moment when he finished the last drop and regained all his memories he saw Crypt, standing silently at the door. He tried to fight back but was defeated after a very short duel. He was a very bad swordsman at the time. Crypt had decided not to kill him but to use him; and use him he did. He took Jammin to his hidden castle and tortured him. When Jammin still refused, he showed Jammin… the Monster. One look at that creature had scarred Jammin so bad; Jammin willingly gave in to Cryptite. Cryptite then began Jammin’s training and trained him into what he was now; a heartless killing machine. Jammin never tried to fight back or try to escape Loka because he truly feared the Monster Crypt kept. The Monster could easily track Jammin down and kill him no matter where he went.

Jammin got out of his bed and unsheathed his sword Amnesia. He had gotten so angry when that girl SCP stole it and had the nerve to wield it as her own. Luckily Jammin had found it in Aureon’s room after Void and SCP had feld. He was glad she had left it behind. He knew that if she had chosen to hold onto it he never would have gotten it back; because he had met SCP outside of Loka… a long time ago when he was better at using a hoe or a shovel then a sword. He had barely gotten away with his life.

Jammin sheathed Amnesia and wrapped it around his belt. He was just about to go down to the training grounds when his radio said in Crypt’s voice: “Hey Jammin get down here! We have figured out where they are, or rather were.”

Jammin sighed and put his bag over his shoulder that was filled with his supplies and went-out his door and locked it behind him.

Jammin found Crypt and Opyc down in the courtyard. Jammin always wondered why Crypt had a courtyard; with it being dark 24/7.

Crypt held a map and was pointing to the ruins of an old town called Conquerors and told them it was located under a beach in Garama.

Crypt ordered Jammin and Opyc to go to Conquerors and try to pick up a trail to where Cat went. According to the town history Cat loved living there and was heartbroken when he had to leave, so he might’ve left something.

Jammin bravely asked Crypt: “Cryptite, why do you want Void so badly?” Crypt’s eyes flashed red. “He was the one who foiled my assassination attempt on Notch, so I wanted you to kill him; but when he escaped from you twice I was ready to go and kill him myself. Then when you arrived here you told me a very important detail that you forgot to tell me when you captured Spectros.” He snarled. “Void had Anvokr; one of the five legendary swords that have perfect enchantments. So far there are 4 of them in Loka you are holding one now.” Jammin looked down at his Amnesia and remembered that Crypt had given it to him. He said he wanted his assassin to have the best sword.

Crypt then said: “I have the other two, and when I collect Void’s I will wait for the other one to find its way to Loka. Then I will take yours. You see when you lay these swords around a pool of lava and an enchanting table with 64 lapis lazuli; they will merge and remake themselves into Darken. The blade will be so powerful it can kill anyone, no matter how small the wound.”

Jammin nodded but was overcome with fear of what Crypt could do if he ever made the Darken. Crypt looked over at Opyc with a murderous gleam in his eyes. Opyc knew what Crypt was thinking. He said: “Whoa Crypt, your secret is safe with me; all I want is my memories back.” Crypt’s eyes faded to a lighter red then told Jammin and Opyc to stand next to each other; they did. Crypt said “Po to wits el car Garama Beach!” Jammin and Opyc immanently disappeared.

Crypt then went back into his Castle to prepare for Jammin’s failure, if he did fail. Crypt had purposely not fed his Monster for this very reason. He told himself that if Void evaded escape again. He will meet him in battle; but there was another reason that he wanted to kill Void. One he had not told Jammin.

Scene: A Destroyed City

Jammin and Opyc appeared in front of a cave covered with vines. The waves roared behind them. Jammin and Opyc took no time to look at the scenery. They were here for information. Jammin used his sword to cut away the vines that were covering the cave entrance then they entered the cave.

The inside of the cave opened up into a large cavern with ruins of a long forgotten town. They traveled along a two block wide dead grass path. On the side of the path there were dead bushes. There was no natural light. The light came from redstone lamps up above them; powered by some unknown source. Jammin didn’t have a clue how redstone worked.

They came across a garden, which was still alive! The garden had a fountain much like the one in Spectros. The fountain was still pouring water; and the bottom was cracked so water leaked out and watered the plants. Jammin went over to a small stone wall that was on the other side of the garden. He wondered why this wall was here; maybe it was an entrance to a house? Jammin shouted to Opyc “Go check those houses over there!” he pointed to a bunch of houses that were in the distance. Opyc nodded and ran off to check them.

Jammin rubbed his hand over the wall. His hand brushed over a rough spot. He took a closer look at it. It looked like a spot where a torch had been placed… Jammin looked around, hoping that someone had left a… “Well what do you know?” he saw a redstone torch faintly glowing at the top of the fountain. He put his left foot over the edge of the fountain and hoisted himself up.

Jammin reached to the top (He had to stand on his toes) and grabbed the torch from the top of the fountain. The fountain suddenly turned off. Jammin shrugged and climbed down.

Jammin then placed the torch on the stone. A clicking sound could be heard coming from the rock. Hidden pistons pulled the rock away revealing a hidden hallway. Jammin whispered “Yes!”

Jammin entered the hallway. Inside the hallway it was well lit by redstone lamps; there was an odor coming from an iron door up ahead. When Jammin arrived at the door he saw a weirdly shaped funnel; a hopper, at his feet. There was a sign above the hopper that read: “Put Password in Hopper” Jammin scoffed and used his sword to stab the doors lock; the door swung open.

Inside the room there was a sign that said “Home of catfishjw” Jammin smiled. “So cat? Did you leave me any clues to where you went?” Jammin explored every single inch of cat’s home, before finding a journal with schematics for a base, and a weapon.

“Entry One”

Today I and my brother Mindblaster007 have decided to leave this town Conquerors. We will set out to the Northern reaches of Garama near the small lake as far North as you can go. We will start building the ultimate weapon that could (in theory) destroy any part of Loka at our command. We will leave shortly.”

“End Entry One”

There were several more entries in the book but Jammin didn’t bother to read them. He stowed the book in his pack.

BOOM!

Jammin whirled around and dashed out the door to see what could’ve made that sound. When he came out the exit he found note-blocks had come up through the ground every one-hundred blocks. They were saying “Thank you for removing the redstone torch from the fountain; town self destruct will occur in thirty seconds.”

Jammin tore out of the garden desperately looking for Opyc. There! He saw Opyc rushing towards him about two-hundred blocks away. Jammin sprinted as fast as he could to Opyc. While running he whipped out his radio and yelled into it: “Crypt teleport us to the North of Garama NOW!”

Opyc reached his hand out to Jammin. Jammin grabbed Opyc’s hand; silver swirls spun around them as they heard: “3” “2” “1”

BOOM!

They both saw the swirling fire spiraling towards them. Underneath them they felt the ground rumbling. An explosion fifteen blocks away from them knocked them down onto the ground. Jammin tried to roll and run away but Opyc had pinned his feet. The ground shook beneath them as there was another explosion under Jammin’s arm. They were thrown backwards again the teleportation spell took effect and teleported them to the safety of the Garama wilderness.

Scene: Jammin’s Wound

Jammin hit the ground with a loud thud! Some very shocked birds were flying away cawing as loudly as they could. Jammin suddenly felt a searing pain in his left shoulder blade; so painful he screamed before looking at it. He looked down at it and screamed louder. His left arm was gone!

Opyc hurried over to Jammin’s side and said: “The explosion under us must’ve caused this!” He quickly pulled Jammin’s bag off him as Jammin screamed in extreme pain while clutching the wound.

Opyc pulled a flint and steel out of Jammin’s pack and said perfect. He ran over to a tree and yelled. “You have to hold on Jammin!” More screams came from Jammin.

Jammin could see Opyc start a fire against a tree and use the fire to heat his blade. Jammin didn’t care though; he was too busy holding his shoulder.

Blood started coming through in large amounts; Jammin fainted. (because he couldn’t stand the sight of his own blood.) He woke back up though when Opyc pressed the searing hot flat end of his blade against Jammin’s shoulder. Jammin’s throat was getting sore from screaming so loudly. Opyc pulled the sword away to let Jammin look at it. Through the tears Jammin could see that his shoulder had stopped bleeding and it was now cauterized. The pain was still unbearable though.

THUNK

Jammin looked over at Opyc just in time to see a flash of white and red before getting hit in the head.

THUNK

Cryptite’s Lair

Crypt was down in the Monsters keep, deep in his castle. He watched his Monster tear several sheep up and eat it hurriedly; he chuckled. Crypt stood up and left his Monster to eat its prey.

Crypt entered a hall filled with thousands of heads of players he had killed; or Jammin had killed. He stopped on the newest addition to his vast collection. SirAureon’s head; he looked at the empty spot next to it. The sign above it read: “ @ChessLlama

Crypt pulled out a mini head from his pocket. He whispered a spell of growth onto it. The head enlarged into ChessLlama’s head. Crypt smiled and silently hung it in its rightful spot and walked away quietly.
