New World Building Competition

It's a building competition!
While we're slugging away carving mountains and wonderful things, the time will soon come when we move on from shaping mountains to the finer things, like painting trees. Loka's new world won't have any of your grandma's boring old trees, we'll be having large wonderful custom ones all everywheres.

While there are several tree packs out there that we'll be using to populate the world with custom tree types, wouldn't it just be swell if you could make your mark on the world by having your awesome tree design complete our Ancient Forest or Sacred Garden?

The following is a list of types of things we want for the new world:

• Biome-specific tree types (Acacia trees, Oak, Jungle trees, etc)
• Specialty trees (Ancient Trees, etc)
• Ice Spikes
• Obsidian Spikes or perhaps other Nether Themed oddities
• Boulders or maybe rock patches

Starting today through the next week, come up with a design for any of the above. Paste a screenshot and the world file for your build and maybe we'll use your awesome tree to populate a part of the world!

This was something I saw done on Pocket Edition. Its subtle, but I think it would add something to the overall immersion if a player came across a tree stump once in a while.

You can also use the button within Resource Packs that takes to their folder, go up one folder, and then look for the saves folder

Don't be afraid to just go bigger if it's what you need for detail
