Hello,
My name is Novhah and I was banned from LokaMC today. I understand why I was banned, however, I would like to provide my insight into the ban and why I believe a permanent ban may be excessive for the offense.
I was banned for account sharing with a player who is permanently banned from LokaMC. This player never used my account to ban evade, and never even played the server on my account.
The reason this player had my account was because we are actually friends in real life, and play SMPs together, as well as survival minecraft servers between just us two, and it is very convenient to have each other's account. It was never my intent to assist in them ban evading, I never even knew they were banned.
Our IPs matched earlier today, I was not aware this happened until right before I was banned. This happened because they logged onto loka using my account. This was genuinely an honest mistake on their part. Even if they attempted to ban evade, they wouldn't do it on my account, as it simply would not work. This is an easy mistake to make because how simple it is to log onto a minecraft server accidentally. It is one click away from happening if the server is still on their server list.
I would like to add that I am a new Loka player, and I was not aware that us having each other's accounts was not allowed, which is 100% my fault, but unfortunate. If I'm unbanned, I am completely willing to go onto a new account that has zero ties to the banned player, so that this never happens again, and so there is no risk of ban evasion. I read loka rules now and I will make sure not to break them again in the future. I hope staff can see that my actions were simply careless, and I wasn't trying to break rules on purpose. I am also willing to pay 500 orbs for a premium account transfer.
I am requesting that this ban gets turned into a temporary ban, and that I am allowed to go onto a new account.
