I wanted to bring up something that's been bothering me for a while regarding the town strike system.
Town strikes were originally added to deter town betrayal reports. That goal makes total sense, and strikes are a good tool for that.
The problem is that strikes never expire.
Because of this, long-standing towns that have been around for years are getting screwed by strikes from years ago. Even if a town has had zero drama, zero betrayals, and has been a positive part of the server for a long time, those old strikes still count against them.
Meanwhile, brand new towns start with a completely clean slate. A brand new town can cause exponentially more issues as an old one with a couple of old strikes hanging over its head, but the old towns get punished harder for mistakes that happened ages ago.
TLDR: This creates a system where old towns are permanently punished for mistakes from several years ago regardless of being diligent.
Suggestion: Make town strikes expire after a reasonable amount of time (for example: 1 year or 2 years).
