I think Jakeman5s apparent crusade against anything and everything related to politics on Loka could be taken more seriously if he did not have one of the most famous political figures to ever live under every single post he makes on his Loka Minecraft forums account.
What is more intriguing to me is that on your channel you have a Loka Minecraft clip with this thumbnail:
You uploaded the aforementioned clip April 2022, you were staff at the time, which can easily be seen by messages you sent before and after the upload:
Of course, more recently we can see that you are also not immune to the whole emoji flags you pretend to find so alarming:
So much for keeping politics out of Loka Jake! Except that is not what you are actually here to do.
You obviously have your own political beliefs and they are obviously not very aligned with the people you target your criticisms toward in this post, yet instead of making that clear you pretend you are purely interested in keeping politics out of Loka! That would be so honest and noble of you, but somehow I do not think we would find you under this post if it involved any other issue and the matters related to it, so why the dishonesty? You are free to think what you think and they are free to think what they think.
If someone crosses a boundary or you believe a rule has been broken you can report them, the power hierarchy among staff exists for this reason and higher up staff can deal with it.
If you think Loka rules should be so harsh as to ban staff from reacting to messages with or posting national flags, and ban staff from having flags, tags etc. on their own personal profiles you can make a suggestion, but please do not pretend this is something other than what it is.
look i sent some flags i dont even know what country. by posting this flag doesnt mean i support their political decisions or governmental issues. I just posted them cuz i liked their color or else. Yeah maybe mcdanky was posting palestine flag but that doesnt mean he supports their political moves or else. Maybe he has sympathy to this flag we cant know. we cant read their minds. No one has the right to disparage a culture a nation, a belief, or a state. in my opinion there is nothing wrong with posting a flag emoji I do it myself from time to time and posting the flag of my own country Turkish flag but I do so without any political intent In fact, i find systems like politics where specific people govern us to be absurd which is why I am apolitical. In my opinion, if a flag shared by one person bothers another, the person who is bothered likely views it through the lens of political opinion. And mcdanky is wrong about what he said; regardless of working for the loka as guardian, a staff member should never get involved in such matters, and posting a specific flag doesnt necessarily mean the act is political.
