I love how I moved to Garama to escape the heavy fighting and have some fun, and then the whole server comes with me. :thonk:

Is a good idea but if this happens all good pvpers r loaded onto one side and then its not even close. Ive gone to a few low number fights and they r honestly fun af. If there was a way to possibly implement this into standard conquest i'd be all for it, but you would also be seriously messing up the server by doing it and i dont see a way to avoid changing conquest in its entirety. Every fight that they want to win becomes reins. I do agree that there needs to be a way to stop making everything on garama tho, but idk how that will be done until another side comes into existance. Currently its everyone is loaded onto one side and town and they all fight there, pretty kringe.

There will always be a major conflict somewhere where either the majority of the playerbase moves to fight or at least the "top" players on the sides will go to fight. It being on Garama is just the nature of the current landscape. The current GaramaMC has also been AscalonMC and KalrosMC in the past.

Our bigger feeling at this time isn't the need for a player-cap, but rather a need for a new objective(s) on the battlefield to break up the fights so that all 120 players aren't effectively fighting at the inhib or at the tgen. If there were more things to do in a battlezone to advance the fight that wasn't just "go for charges", you could have mini-battles spread around and it would break up the zerg-swarm of fights a bit.

I mean I guess I agree, when I first joined every continent had its own groups fighting- now to be fair only Karlos and Garama were continental fights but then ascalon had balak, three continents well spread out players fighting. I found this to be like a really good fun way of loka, these 60v60s are more boring, but if you find a cool other objective I mean that's awesome

And also on the note of you and silver saying top players going to one side I just think if they do that aren't they just throwing away the other cap? I mean in that case you're still winning atleast one side and so are they, idk that's just my view atleast.

I wasn't ever like pushing all the way for a fight cap, just the only idea I really thought up to counter it. Just wanted some idea because it's quite boring as I said but yeah! Thanks for the response if I think of any cool little thing I'll let you know

Weird side thought but, some sort of reward for doing some quirky niche objective? Idk even just rewards for the basic things spicing up fights a little bit

Some shards for most kills in a fight, shards rewarded on double or triple kills, for most charges taken- bare in mind this would have to be like coded in so that it was proportionate to people in a fight to prevent boosting and stuff, so example in the 50v50s for top kills you could get 1000 shards or something! IDK! maybe

The LCRs spoke about this briefly in a meeting. They'd likely be another objective for completing the fight, not just some offshoot for rewards.
