Stop with the large text now jedi we get your point. This just isn't going to happen, as much as it would be fun to go on a mass banning spree. I'm not sure whether you quite understand what most people's motives are if they grief or hack. They do it out of spite and don't deserve a second chance I'm afraid.
As much as I am sure you are well intentioned Jedi, unbanning all the xrayers, hackers, etc would not be smart. Remember the talk we had long ago about the world not being all good? THIS is one of these cases.
Imagine releasing all the convicts from jail in some random country. I can almost assure you they wouldn't be all like: "MAH GAWSH THEY RELEASED US, LET'S ALL BE GOOD TO THE COUNTRY THAT FREED US AFTER A YEAR OF BEING BANNED"
It is some effort for the admins of Loka to track down the most able hackers and xrayers and especially with the new server, they will have much to do.
I recommend you do something. Join up with Psych or me one day and we can show you the horrors we've seen in the MC universe. You'll notice that trolls are relentless and uncorrigible.
Something else you could do, is start a vanilla multiplayer server and advertise a bit for it. You will also see what horrors come to your server and if you wanna give em a second chance.

What andre said. Especially all the stuff about the world not being 100% good. This is one nasty place, Planet Earth, and the internet is like a concentrated dose of it.

Plus, me being me, I would want to have tons of plug-ins to make my server awesome, but I can't install a mod for myself, and I don't expect I would be able to install a plug in for a whole server...

What if only a few people were unbanned?
I think, people who play often on the server, should be able to....recommend one person they know who has played on the sever to be unbanned. People who have done good things for the server, people who can do more good things for the server. If this happened, we pretty much know two people who would for sure be chosen. Def and Andre. But there may be other people who can do good things. with this, I think probably 4 to 5 people would be unbanned. Not that big of a deal, but it could mean a whole lot to those people. I understand why people need to be banned. But I also think we need to forgive a little.
Have you heard the saying that goes something like "The best teacher is strict and kind" or something? (I don't know what it says exactly....) Anyway, it means the teacher, (In this case the admins,) Make sure the kids obey the rule, (The kids would be the players, rules would be the rules), but also is forgiving to the kids who disobey, after they get into trouble. (Trouble would be the ban.)
You know, one of my friends was banned from a server he played on all the time. He loved it there. When he got banned, it almost completely ruined Minecraft for him. It certainly ruined Multiplayer. I played on that server too. It just became...more empty without him. I had other friends there, but it just seemed like a whole new server. One not as good.
Keep this in mind, could there be any other people like my friend?
Remember this too. When you ban one person, that person may not be the only one punished.

On a slight tangent from this, we could make some kind of revised appeals process for unbanning players that incorporated people voting as to whether or not they would like them to come back. Not really a good idea, but meh it's worth thinking about.

Few issues:
1) Trolls would turn it into a troll-fest, with trolls going "lul letz bring back random x-rayers to piss off admins" "amg dat's so gud ideu"
2) Bringing people back would make half the server glad, and the other half pissed the person came back when one of their banned friends wasn't.
3) Everyone who was banned was banned for a reason; three people I can think of who'd the server would argue for:
a. Andrekeroxd, went crazy and griefed shizzle.
b. Djmax2 (I think that's that alt of that one guy who was a major x-rayer who ended up getting another alt? Maybe? Pfft, ask Zor, not my problem.)
c. Defgnww, a person who a majority of the server hates, detracted from the experience, drove away members of the server, and causes nightmares to small babies.
4) The only repentance on this server is Mop repentance, and nothing can replace that.
And now, laser beams.

Joce, you have an extreme bias against def. He is a great player with great ideas but the wrong approach. He didnt change at all after leavin HC, only your perception of him. I think the server would benefit a lot from him coming back, under the condition that he didnt tell any new players to leave the server.
Andre was banned because he wanted to be banned, not because he wanted to try to get away with breaking a rule. If Andre wants to come back I don't think anyone is against it.
I don't know a lot about hylian but I have nothing against bringing him back because it was so long ago, obviously if he did it again he'd be banned.

I would consider bringing Hylian back simply because he and Dingo seemed like a cool duo as well as all of the players they brought with them (for better or worse). It was a fun moment in Lokan conflict history to have The Reach around, if not just for the sort of zerg-swarm mentality they had.
Def was far more trouble than he was anything else, so I'd not be for him returning.
Agreed in returning andre for the same reasons as everyone else.

In my opinion, Def and Andre, I think, should be able to return.
They, (And a few others) taught me everything I know of Loka, and are the reason I'm still here. Def was the first person I talked to on the server. Well, I said hello, but that was aimed towards everyone. He told me he would give me a few supplies to start me off, IF I stayed on the server a few days at least. He told me most people leave and never return. I stayed, in the first place because of him. Now, think of all of your early MC days. I had been playing MC about a week when I started Loka. A creeper got into my house. I blocked myself off, and Def came all the way from DR to my shelter just to kill the creeper for me. I'm sure he had better things to do. Guys, thats friendship right there. Kindness. It truly is. He has, so many times, helped me. He made me feel like I had a place here. He was the reason I didn't leave after Mythia's fall. (I was slightly depressed.) Good friends were here on this server. I didn't want to leave Def, or Lea, Art, Andre, godemox, or Rocky_3308. When he was banned, I truthfully considered leaving Loka. It feels like a whole new server, one not as good as my look of Loka. He always encouraged me to reach my goals, and I thank him for that. I cry as I type this, knowing there may be no hope. Wait, no. Theres always hope. Theres always hope.
Andre. I think he, too, should be unbanned. He taught me a lot, too. He was the reason I join the Wiki, and eventually, the forums. I met him when I was looking for squids and he gave me a book and quill. Well, I knew he existed, but didn't consider him a friend or enemy. When he killed me with my sword "The Sword that will not Kill" as a joke, and I overreacted, I was mad at him, but then he gave my sword back, helped me find a new wolf, (He killed mine), and gave my many ink sacs, we were friends once again. He, too, has encouraged me and I'm proud to call him a friend.
I would also ask for coolluke2003 to be unbanned. He made a small grief in Asgard, but he was really sorry and I highly doubt he'll do it again.
