February 28th, Day 1340: Allocasuarina dielsiana

Fruit Info: For our fruit of the day today we have the northern sheoak fruit. This fruit is, ironically, native to the south west region of Australia. This fruit, like the fruit of almost every other sheoak, carries winged seeds within it.

February 29th, Day 1341: Allocasuarina lehmanniana

Fruit Info: For this fruit of the day we have yet another come from yet another species of she-oak. It is endemic to the coastal regions of south west Australia. Like all the others, it carries winged seeds inside the cone.

March 1st, Day 1342: Allocasuarina grevilleoides

Fruit info: For our fruit of the day today we have yet another species of she-oak (I’m sorry but there’s so many just bear with me). Like literally all of the others so far it is native to south west Australia and contains winged seeds within its cone.

Fruit Info: For our fruit of the day today we have the goolee also known as the kweela. This fruit is endemic to the southern part of continental Australia. At least this one isn’t just south west… You guessed it though, this one also contains winged seeds to help it reproduce.

Fruit Info: Today for our fruit of the day we have a byproduct of a whole lot of time and dedication. This works is mandatory, and has been a valuable tool for us to have. It is also another native of south Western Australia

March 4th, Day 1345: Allocasuarina inophloia

Fruit Info: For today’s fruit of the day we have yet another she-oak fruit. These cones grow to be around 0.4 to 0.8 inches long when fully mature. However, we have a lot to celebrate with this fruit though, because it is a native of EASTERN AUSTRALIA! (I’m slipping down into insanity again)

Fruit Info: For this fruit of the day we have an another cone in the seemingly never ending drudgery that is the she-oak fruits. This fruit is a native to south eastern Australia, and if it also contains a large amount of winged seeds when fully mature.

Fruit Info
Today for our fruit of the day we have the compass bush cone. This fruit is a native to Australia, particularly the south west region of Australia. It also contains winged seeds because despite being a bush it’s plant is related to all these she-oaks.

March 7th, Day 1348: Allocasuarina microstachya

Fruit Info:
For this fruit of the day today we have yet another she-oak cone, once again from the southwest region of Australia. It also contains winged seeds, the novelty of which is beginning to wear off. Sadly, it’s conservation status is listed as not threatened, so we really need to work on that.

March 8th, Day 1349: Allocasuarina nana

Fruit Info: Today for this fruit of the day we have the dwarf she-oak cone, also known as the stunted she-oak cone. This fruit is native of the southeast region of Australia. The mature cone is about 0.5-1.0 inches long.

Fruit Info: Today for our fruit of the day we have the cone of the slaty sheoak. This fruit is a native of southern Australia. The cone frows to be about 0,5 to 1.2 inches long.

Fruit Info: Today we have the forest oak’s cone, also known as the river oak’s cone. This fruit is a native of the eastern regions of continental Australia. Like all of these lately it possesses winged seeds.

Fruit Info: Continuing on in our journey through extraordinarily similar cones that are native to Australia and contain winged seeds, we have yet another cone that is native to Australia and contains winged seeds. This one in particular is native to southeast Australia and is grown by the scrub sheoak.

Fruit Info: Today for our fruit of the day we have the cone of the drooping sheoak. It is a native of southeastern Australia and contains winged seeds inside of it. These cones are fairly big relative to the others at up to 2 inches long.

Fruit Info: Today we have the cone of the horned sheoak as our newest fruit of the day. It is a native of Australia, particularly in the southwest of the region. It also contains winged seeds which is one of the main characteristics of its genus.
