Fruit Info: This next fruit of the day we have is the fruit of the New Zealand oak. It is, as I’m sure you can’t possibly guess, a native of New Zealand. This particular kind of fruit is unpalatable for human beings.

Fruit Info: This next fruit of the day is a close relative of many of the previous recently posted fruits. As a species it was first described in the year 1863. It is not only native to Queensland Australia but also to New South Wales. The fruit is a two lobed capsule, the early stages of which you can see above.

Fruit Info: Today for our fruit of the day we have this species of fruit the grows on the goldenhorn. It is a native to many provinces in northern China. It is also naturalized to Russia where it is imported from China.

Fruit Info: Today for our fruit of the day we have the magonia. This fruit is part of a monotypic genus. It is a native of the tropical regions of South America.

April 19th, Day 1519: Dipteronia sinensis

Fruit Info: For our next fruit of the day we have the fruit of one of the two species in the genus Dipteronia. This fruit is a native of central and southern regions of China. Structurally this fruit is in essence just a wing like structure for the seed contained within to ride in.

Fruit Info: Today’s fruit is commonly referred to as the scrub tamarind. This fruit is a species that grows in the rainforests of northeastern Australia. Inside these red-ish fruits you can squally find little glossy black seeds.

Fruit Info: Today for our fruit of the day we have the fruit of the fern tree, also known as the fruit of the ferntree, also known as the fruit of the fern leaf tree. It is a native to a few different regions including Madagascar, Africa, India and Sri Lanka.

Fruit Info: Today for our fruit of the day we have the fruit known as the tuckeroo and it grows on the cashew leaf cupania. Like many of our other recent fruits it is a native of northern and eastern Australia. The fruit when ripe takes in this golden yellow color and serves as a capsule for seeds.

Fruit Info: Today for our fruit of the day we have the fruit known as the the narrow-leaved tuckeroo, also known as the toothed tuckeroo and the white tamarind. This fruit physically is a mostly spherical red-ish, brown-ish capsule. It id also native to eastern Australia.

Fruit Info: Today for your fruit of the day we have cooper’s puzzle. This fruit I a a commonly known species of fruit native to the Queensland region of Australia. The fruit varies in color from orange to a more pink color.
