Suggestion remove the obstacles in the middle of the duels maps

Nobody likes them, just make a flat arena where people don't have to get stuck on blocks going up or just rocks in the middle of the map

honestly the existing work they did on most maps is already good enough in my opinion. (and the outright removal of the tree map which got me laughed out the room in one of the SOTS but look where we are now...) https://forums.lokamc.com/threads/just-remove-the-log-map.5523/#post-52718

Anyways back on point, this isn't 1.7 HCF where all the pot maps are flat because that's pretty much how HCF and "Road PvP" is, I think in the same way their duel maps represent their communities gamemodes ours should too, with SOME NATURAL TERRAIN HERE AND THERE. After all conquest isn't all flattened out is it.

Which maps specifically? Like is the mine map fine? Or just the underwater map?
All maps should be made equal ground level, the going up and down makes no real sense imo as they just mess up your pots.
Most maps have something like a rock or a pillar stopping which you easily get stuck on, I think those should be removed. An example of some of these rocks are the lava/volcano map with the obsidian rocks or the underground mine map (images below on what i mean)

I don't believe the comparison to conquest should be made in duels, I agree with some natural terrain but with some of this is unnecessary, in the volcanic map especially.

The point is to get stuck on or avoid the obstacles. I get that people love flat PVP but it's awful for practicing anything other than the general mechanics of how to swing a sword and throw potions.

If not to practice the general mechanics, what are the point of duels??

it makes complete sense, you want practice to be completely irrelevant to the main gamemode, it's called practice for a reason and should be an accurate simulation.

helps you practice the ACTUAL mechanics with walls and different Y levels, sounds like you just want practice for practice fights. smh!

The gamemode is diamond potion pvp. The practice is to learn how to be better at diamond potion pvp. "Learning y levels" I don't understand how this relates to potion pvp? The actual mechanics are learning how to crit, strafe etc and how to pot and when to pot. Y levels only mess that up and make it harder for times you'll never actually use it in other than Conquest which has a completely different loadout with things like pearls which can help you avoid said obstacles.

the gamemode is Loka Conquest! It's LokaMC and it's their spin on potion pvp, with increased damage and whatnot! to say this is simply potpvp isn't a fair argument, sounds like you want to go play ffa, so go do that. because only in FFA do they use a stupid barebones kit with a flat ground to practice their ultimate combos!! This isn't FFA, nor is it so simply "Pot" this is LOKA! and I of course it has a different loadout it's practice silly! Streamlined.

the gamemode is literally called Potion Duel, not LokaMC Conquest duel.. In what universe do you think FFA/Barebones = Pot. It's Loka sure! But it's a potion duel on loka. Not a LokaMC Conquest Duel silly! Streamlined.

Tbh, I can see both sides of the argument, but I'm more in favor of there being obstacles. (Except that ocean map, that's just annoying sometimes)

If you want to do basic pot pvp, there's battlegrounds flat areas, and maybe even in your town. Maybe some more flat maps are in order. But being given even just the small amount of obstacles makes fights more interesting imo.

Plus bow Duels with obstacles are the beat
