Suggestion remove the obstacles in the middle of the duels maps

I'm in the middle on this one too, to be fair. I don't consider our Potion Duel maps to be made for conquest training. But I also think that 100% flat no-obstacle PvP maps are made for those who can't adjust to real fight dynamics. The best PvPers in Minecraft aren't thwarted by blocks.

There's a middle ground on too many obstacles vs none, and ultra-flat vs a step up/down here and there. I could see removing a couple Volcano Map spikes tbh.

As was earlier stated, if there're some bad barrier blocks here and there, let us know (coordinates please) and we'll be happy to clean all of those up.

C Train should be not flat, hilly asf, just weird terrain made for training conquest
Potion Duels should be 90% flat with like hills on the side for training general combat

Who are you talking to right now? Who is it you think you see? Do you know how many kills I get a year? Even if I told you wouldn’t believe it. Do you know what would happen if I decided to stop going to the siege? A siege big enough to be listed as a Loka fight goes belly up. Disappears. It ceases to exist without me. You clearly don’t know who your talking to. So let me clue you in. I am not trapped cryptite I am the trapper a guy opens his gate and gets trapped and you think that out of me? No I am the one who traps

i think what dae means is keep it to a minimum as it does make pvping harder for some people....
i understand the idea behind keeping it realistic but thats what ctrain is for!
i personally would like smaller obstacle that u can escape from easier as some of the obstacles get in the way too much such as the ocean map and volcanic map
altho as a side suggestion maybe make it so u can vault the volcanic map obstacles for a getaway route (vault as in jump over)

just my take on the situation and my own opinion so anyone who decides to argue with it just looks like a knob

why would conquest training be flat if its the complete opposite when you warp to a real fight, inaccurate training?
I said it should not be flat
but i kinda worded it weirdly sorry i meant C train shouldn't be flat while duels should

U gotta spend less time focusing on the blocks and more time focusing on your opponent
this is kind of exactly the point.. if you're focusing on your opponent and then whoops you turn around to pot and you're stuck on an obstacle

as said.. so... so many times before.. Duels doesnt = conquest. It is not conquest training therefore it shouldn't be there to represent conquest...
That doesn't mean some attributes should be left out. If you're bad enough to get trapped behind some obstacles, you should get good.

You know these maps, you've been playing them for years, you should know where the Obstacles are.

In fairness, this seems like something where there is a happy medium yet to be found. This also seems like the perfect thread to put a poll in to see who thinks they're acceptable or if they need to be streamlined for better PVP.

Worth saying that we have LCRs for a reason. If you got a group together that agreed this needs to change, ran through and made suggestions, we usually accommodate if people make requests so long as they are reasonable. Before we pushed last ranked season, I remember we did a lot of late nights making sure that we had new maps and all maps that were somewhat catered towards PVPers.

I can see where you're coming from with the complaints regarding the massive spikes in the volcano map.
