We don’t condone that kind of language. That being said, if things like that are happening in a private chat (town chat, alliance chat, discord text chats, etc.) or any kind of vc, we do not monitor them unless a player feels they are being harassed/bullied and report it to us. As stated in Rule 5.10. “We do not monitor town or alliance chat channels. We will only do this if bullying or hate speech occurs.”
The way I see it, it’s an issue because not only was a racial slur used, but he himself is directing it towards an individual in a public setting. Who’s to say he won’t do the same on our server as well?

It's not that, most players dont care about the things people say to eachother but it's weird how the same people who scream racial slurs in calls daily are out here tryna preach about how bad it is what he said like they don't do the exact same thing

i appreciate your point of view but i hope you realize alot of the people here disavowing toxicity on the forums are not doing so because it's the right thing but because they have epic mineceaft drama with people that make appeals and i am quite sure you will find alot of the people in this thread do not practice what they are preaching

Although this may be true that players aren't using the rules in good faith we really can't discount what people report just because of that. Regardless of who reports what, we need to act on it because it's behaviour Loka has a hard stance against.

If we were to start discounting what individuals report because they may have ulterior motives that complicates things and compromises on Lokas stance on maintaining a PG server.

As always, our advice is if you don't want this stuff to be used against you, don't say it or own up to it and acknowledge why what you've said is wrong. If you don't think racially motivated harassment or hate speech is wrong then you probably don't have a place in Loka.

Im sure he hasn’t said this in the past on Loka and even if he did it would’ve been a year ago… I mean, think about it. The fact that you’re going to the extent of going to your logs on another server, a complete different gamemode, complete different rules and hold it against him. It kind of seems like you guys just hate him because people built a bad persona on him.

Yes, as I've said in my past replies, this is all we have to judge a player off, this and his past. These screenshots aren't even old, why would we want to unban a player who clearly doesn't understand why we have these rules in place.

This argument has been used in many, many other ban appeals and it's the same reply every time. He's held to this standard because he's banned and needs to prove if he was unbanned he wouldn't be a negative presence in the community, these screenshots prove he doesn't mind being perceived like this.

It really isn't unfair, it's a PG server. Maybe if the screenshots were older I'd be likely to agree but some aren't even a month old.

Completely different server with completely different rules, although its the same persona with the same characteristics.. I personally like Splin too, it's not like they hate him it's the fact that the evidence shows there is a bad persona present.

no more than 2 weeks ago i asked for a couple packs and he got back to me as soon as possible with them all. and i know he'd do this with any other player too because i feel as if he's moved on from his toxic ways.

But guys he gives out texturepacks, he isn't toxic !!!!
