Loka staff showed 0 respect to dsari and to themselves. Bat making horrible statements and on the other hand me knowing how to screenshare better then them.

These are scan results of journal trace which is a program they've used to ss akhisarli for cheating

Wonderful display of administration by bat3415. Absolutely laughable in my opinion. "I don't know are you doing with an anti virus in 2023" is an absolutely absurd thing to say, as if viruses just disappeared off the internet at 12:00 AM January 1st 2023. I think bat is making a fool of himself as well as poorly representing the Loka staff team and Dsari was wrongfully banned. I have known Dsari for many years, and one thing I can say is that he is as honest as they come. He was genuinely upset when his PC crashed which was completely out of his hands, and resulted in this unfortunate situation. I believe the rest of the Loka staff team will make this right by Dsari and allow him back onto the server.

Im not gonna read what skuhoo said but lets say its true because he is pro. (Dsari add me on discord (czmpos) )

JournalTrace is an open-source program. It isn't malware. Note that all the detections in your screenshot are generics. They are false-positives, presumably caused by the fact that reading NTFS journal entries is a low-level function that any normal program would have no business doing. Many other digital forensics tools get similarly falsely flagged as malicious by antiviruses due to their unique nature. Echo's JournalTrace equivalent, Journal Tool, is another example of this.

For what it's worth, I reanalyzed JournalTrace on VirusTotal (where your screenshot is from) and the detections dropped from 14/70 to 5/70 so it would appear that security vendors are at least improving their detections in this regard.
This is completely unrelated to the issue at hand. I am unsure as to why you are mentioning VirusTotal scan statistics as if it's relevant to his PC crashing.

It was a response to @passway's implication that we're running malware on players' computers. I was not making a response to Dsari's appeal.

+1

When I got home and heard how the tournament went, I jumped to the conclusion that Dsari must have been cheating, or was just FzU on an alt. But after hearing people talk about it more and seeing how Dsari cares enough to collect the information and write a well thought-out appeal, he does not deserve to be banned. His ban raises further concerns with the Loka staff's immature methods of screen-sharing and incredulous attitude towards anti-viruses.
All in all, Dsari definitely deserves the unban just based on the lack of evidence of any wrongdoing, and overall unworthiness of a permanent ban.

P.S his music production is actually not bad, looking forward to future projects!

Ironically a lot of antivirus software is not as necessary due to windows defender as well as the performance impact other pieces of software have. Additionally, unless you're downloading from weird sites you're probably fine. Doesn't mean it's bad to have one, but they can often cause more harm than good.

so ur saying that if u have a antivirus that it could be used against u if u are screenshared?

+1 seems handled unprofessionally and dsari seems to have a strong case of his PC just straight up crashing

+1 blue screening can happen randomly like i was watching yt today and during watching the video my pc blue screened
No, bluescreen is not “random.” It is caused when something is done and an error occurs. I can think of about a million ways to make a PC bluescreen on purpose and a few are just with key presses. The standard has always been if you disconnect during a screenshare you will be banned. This is because the screenshare process itself doesn’t cause issues and, like I stated, there are a million ways to purposefully cause a bluescreen to occur. Also, Antivirus wouldn’t do anything to an echo scan, because it’s a scan; it’s not a download or something already downloaded on the PC.

Bro I was on Loka a week ago and I randomly bluescreened for no reason. I only had minecraft and Spotify open and I was just building. It randomly blue screened and gave me a random error(it was completely random and I wasn’t trying to make it do that).

Mb, regardless, I can’t find a single instance of it causing a bluescreen. Plus, when Skuhoo screenshared me I had norton running and I didn’t get a single issue so I have a hard time believing his antivirus caused the blue screen.
The error code at the bottom of the blue screen states “DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER” while doing some basic research on Microsoft.com I was able to find it quite easily

“

Cause

A driver overran a stack-based buffer (or local variable) in a way that would have overwritten the function's return address and jumped back to an arbitrary address when the function returned.

This is the classic "buffer overrun" hacking attack. The system has been brought down to prevent a malicious user from gaining complete control of it.

I’m doing basic coding classes it’s not like I’m a genus at it but reading the last paragraph sums it up.
