Could you perhaps make it so that Town owners can still spawn them in their towns

Unfortunately no, because this would allow town owners to spawn a wither that breaks no blocks upon creation and life meaning they become cake to fight.

If such a time comes when we have other channels, the /ch command will be how you access it. For now, however, the "rp" channel is the only such available channel and the help for /ch will reflect as such.

I think you're thinking about the 'server-wide RP events' when you say that, but the Roleplaying channel is meant to be for anybody and everybody to be able to converse, in-character, about whatever they please. The RP channel is by no means off-limits to anybody, but it is expected that you stay in-character and try to keep the off-topic conversation to public, private, or town chat.

Also, while you say you don't have a part to play, Jedi, and whether it's taken seriously by the thieves or not, your desire to roleplay is much stronger than many people who've been playing on this server for over a year. I'm proud of your desire to roleplay, even if others make fun of it.

The seeds of the map will never be posted as you can simply cheat and it removes some of the mystery.

Ores will be in the same places so it's like effectively having xray. You can mark locations of dungeons etc, so yeah, not a good idea.
