I've never heard of this fruit and I'm American!Fruit Info: The Devil wood is a dandy alternative name for today’s fruit. The Cartrema americana is native to much of the southeast United States, except south Florida for reasons. There plant is grown mostly for ornamental reasons and for its lovely smell.
How dare you say that...It is a fancy orange.
Honestly one of the most odd fruits I've seen on this thread so far. Quite weird that it's origins are unknown.January 23rd, Day 253: Lumia
Fruit Info: Likely originating from around the Mediterranean, the lumia makes its claim as fruit of the day today. The lumia is a cotton hybrid of somewhat uncertain origin. The fruit is known for its distinctive shape, which has earned it the name pear lemon. Other alternate names include French lime, sweet lemon, and it’s on the nose scientific name Citrus lumia.
Fruit Tier: A points for originality. I wouldn’t have thought about combining Pear and Lemon before.

I mean there is a precedent for them turning themselves into consumables, so I’m not gonna rule it out. What if it's from Super Mario Galaxy and it was originally a star?
It’s actually not as uncommon as you may think, particularly among citrus. The citrus genus has been cultivated and domesticated by humans for thousands of years making their origins highly difficult to discern. The fruit you consume is, almost assuredly, so unlike the actual original ancestors of these fruit that you would never recognize it. So where in this ancient timeline some of them came to be we really just don’t know, as people didn’t study them like they do today.Honestly one of the most odd fruits I've seen on this thread so far.
