My view on this personally from a game point / "Owner pov", is that it remains, but due to lack of consistency and well established rules on these tournaments I'm a bit stuck and leaning towards it being removed, - Please read the whole thing before attacking me.

Because yes, it sucks. He certainly did use something that he knew gave him an advantage, however I don't think we would be making the same post for someone using g7 (input lag version) winning. But since it wasn't a client and isn't against the rules, I don't think it should inherently be stripped from him.

HOWEVER, as with the Stromgarde tournament, these are PLAYER RAN FESTIVALS, the organizers / hosts of the event, within reason should be allowed to use their discretion to decide who gets the rewards in the event of what is a dodgy case / people believe it was unfair.

AND YES I know the inherent argument against this will be "well thats not fair the hosts are friends with dylhn" staff let Squid make the same choice against 2 Cov members which he both disliked and thought were cheating over his two friends TryH4rdd and Tqmen, to this day 2 legit players lost their victor and champion sword, however in a case where scum and cheats were actually used we aren't willing to do the same thing, from a game point of view as I said at the start I would say no, but based on consistency it's clear as day that if the hosts wish that it should be swapped.

p.s i may be a lil bias, the victor in question did suggest that someone should ddoss me to win their fight in the tourney \o/ !!!

So my overall argument is that, the player in question acted in bad faith, and if decided by the hosts they should be allowed to correct this mistake if they feel it is one.

A. It's not a kb modifier he admitted to it changing his kb yes but it didnt completely change it to where it would make him take no kb thats what i was applying.

B. Finding these two versions were completely by accident. Get Cryptite in here to check out these versions he can confirm that it decreases your kb by the bare minimal and before you say "SEE THE BARE MINIMAL" Dylan fights laggers/non laggers everyday I see that man he always has a strat against a persons playstyle. All this did was delay his KB. Dylan knew how to counter that right? Why is he complaining about it now just because he lost.

C. What are you missing about this. No offense im not calling out of all BITS/COV but they are the only ones complaining about this. I know if you guys had found out about this you guys wouldn't say shit about it until we made a response. Yall get upset over a guy who "semi (even thats too much) changes his kb with a version which is ALLOWED ON LOKA but is perfectly fine with someone who has the same kb without using the version. Okay, im not trying to biased in all this. The optifine version and forge version didnt give you reach or anti kb. If you test out the version itself you can tell theres some what of a kb difference. g0mez didnt use any "cheats" from what 36s is saying its a simple version that anyone on the loka community could have used. Its a official released version of minecraft forge and a official version of optifine. It just happened to be these two versions that caused delayed kb. You might say this is simliar to a netlimiter or straight up using velocity but at the same time it was a released version of minecraft optifine and forge which is not bannable in any way. You are just ruining peoples REPS by saying he was a cheater/hacker. This is a version everyone in the entire world was widely avaliable to. Just because someone did a little research and found how to take lesser kb doesn't mean he cheated his way to victor. (example) So if he optimized his PC to get less input delay to be able to crit faster hes cheating because he did his research? Forge and Optifine was never a bannable offense. Clearly it doesn't say it in the rules, but as with the stromgarde tourney (you can read up a little to see what I said there) the staff left it up to the hosts in a tough call to decide what was cheating or not, as its a community run event, consistency is key when enforcing rules.
